Anyone hurt by these WMDs ?
-
Hang on, they went there because Iraq had WMD...
-
Yes - where are the WMD? Blair was bush's bitch and bush did it for oil!
-
Additionally, the question no one likes to answer is: if they had no WMD's why were they giving weapons inspectors the run around??
-
When there is no case they just fabricate evidence to make the case. There were and never were any WMD and we were lied to.
-
"Do you think anyone will believe it if I say Iraq has WMDs? Fuck it, worth a punt!" T Blair
-
Iraq was innocent of possessing WMD's, but that didn't stop Blair invading and smashing open a hornets nest we will be paying for for generations.
-
So, the drug free Yanks start another WMD rumour, hey? Geez they are a pathetic nation. Along with the Aussies they only sing when they're winning.
-
First goal will be so crucial as if they get it I think we will huff and puff with no wmd product. Real test of our ability but we are due a defeat. 1-0 Birmingham.

Can't tell if this is tongue in cheek or not, but if he had wmds would they not have been found in the last 15 years ? It was a lie to go to war and some people still believe it.. Utter madness.

I'll take it seriously. I make Salmond right. If he gets independance he wants Trident removed from Scotland within five and a half years. IMO they should not be moved but scrapped and not replaced. Why spend billions on WMD that we can never use? Unless we wish to destroy the whole planet. None of which changes the fact,…

Regime change was always bound to be messy, but whilst we were installing our new leader I wanted to see team effort, determination and some signs of reconstruction. Last night I got it. We may not have WMD's yet, but we did appear to have chucked out the D&R damp squibs. Best game yet under CP and I'm a whole lot happier.

To name but a few. If questions were never asked ... the Qatar World Cup bid would have been above board. The Pope would have remained silent on child abuse. Tony Blair would be a good bloke who alerted the world to WMD and as for Jimmy Saville - a marvellous fund raising entertainer. OK, mum and dad didn’t lie to me when…

I think we're arguing the same point here though. Everyone including May has called this a deterrent. That means that it is deterring other nations from using their own WMDs on us or our allies. If one of them does launch with the knowledge that we can retaliate then that is not a deterrent. I'm not arguing that we…

Could have said Blair = WMD in Iraq, but the double point I was making is that politicians lie or "change policy" whenever they like, and I quoted Clegg because he is in a position of direct power - unlike Mr Reckless who is a mere backbencher. Reckless has given his voters a quick opportunity to decide whether he still…

Bit of Friday fun: The ref blew up for the blatant handball against Fulham and we stayed in the Premiership Gazza was two inches taller and connected with that last gasp cross against Germany in Euro 1996 Waddles shot went in off the post against Germay in Italia 1990 Blair realised the WMD dossier was s3xed up and…

A friend of my brother was killed in Iraq and let's face it that was a bad decision from day one and it hasn't got any better. As for Blair going in on the back of bad advice, that doesn't stack up, he was happy to cite the "45 minute" warning - that Saddam could be sending WMD in the direction of British interests in 45…
-
The US spent several months prior to the invasion preparing for it, by the time of the invasion there were around 250,000 soldiers based in the Gulf, with the support networks etc. Diplomatically Bush and the neo-cons had lied their way into preparing for the war - telling us that they knew where the WMD were, that Saddam…

To be fair he was one of the few newspaper editors who consistently opposed the invasion of Iraq. At the time there was the Daily Mirror and the Guardian and that was about it, the rest of Fleet Street happily swallowed and regurgitated the lies about Saddam Hussein acquiring nuclear weapons and being in possession of WMD…

We are constantly fed information by the establishment: WMD's in Iraq The suicide of Dr Kelly The Deepcut barracks enquiry The thousands of tons of gold that Gordon Brown sold cheap Not to mention those guys who had 6 flying lessons and piloted 2 jets through a confined space and into skyscrapers. So let's get rid of the…
