Bloody hell, has this site become Wrexham Life or something??

Can we get back to talking about Millwall. Thank you
    Woodwork hasn’t been on here…
    Banned, better late than never.
    Why was he banned?
He brought up Millwall more than I did and I’m a Millwall fan! 😂

(although I suspect so is he. Which is very strange behaviour. I mean, it’s strange that I post on here! But to pretend to be a Charlton fan and then post constantly about Millwall is another level strange. 😆)
He is 100% a Millwall fan. I've spoke with him on twitter a number of times, he would find some of my tweets and talk about Millwall on them. I've also seen him under a number of other Charlton users tweets on twitter.

He actually had some decent views, just a shame he went with the whole pretending to be a Charlton act and baiting people.
If it is who I think it is he may have had a bit of trouble with Charlton fans online in the past (he may have even had a previous account on CL many moons ago but don’t quote me on that). Hence the pretending to be a Charlton fan just so he could get his Millwall points across without stirring the hornets nest. Very strange behaviour but clearly an intelligent bloke. Just not the full ticket.
If this is true then people on here are way too over sensitive, and I think it’s wrong to ban him.

Banning should only be for insulting others imo
Do you not think it’s a bit strange to pretend to be a Charlton fan whilst constantly posting about Millwall? I mean, at least with me you know what you’re getting, clues in the name 😁
    And the spelling mistakes

Be curious to see the wages cause 900k as a compensation fee is a bargain for a player of Pokus quality.

Interesting that outside of Preston & Swansea, no one has really 'got going' yet

Would rather have our squad than Wrexham's. Too many older over the hill players they'll need to replace and not convinced Parky is going to last if things started badly. Ryan Hardie is a decent signing but they're going to need a serious clear out.
Are you suggesting then that we don’t need a serious overhaul, apart from a small handful of players our squad has League One written all over it.

As dozens of people have posted on here we need at least 5-6 new players and ones that are ready to start, not squad signings.

We've not got a bunch of 30+ players that know they're on their last payday so will be hard to shift.

Probably need 7-10 signings in total with at least 5 starters.

Millwall this transfer window- Got rid of that guy that kicked a Palace player, replace him with a 31 year old Australian (who plays for New Zealand).

He'll probably only feature in the cup

That is the rumoured fee Birmingham were willing to pay, we will get a rough idea when QPR publicise their figures.

It has to be around the 20k mark though as it's hard to imagine he would have rejected Brum for a lower wage, especially when they're on the up and it feels like QPR aren't.

Not ideal but apparently it was the only way we would’ve got him to sign in the first place and it was a free transfer so nothing lost. Got a ready made replacement in Tristan Camra who I rate highly.

I’d be more worried if Ivanovich went. There’s 20 goals a season in that boy if he gets a full season. And for 3 million and at only 20 years old he looks like a steal

Looking forward to the day we start signing European wonderkids we can sell on for 10 times the price we paid after a good season.

    Hopefully starting this summer.

Probably, but if it nets the club 15 million plus profit then I’ll be happy with that. It’s not like we don’t reinvest these days. Nearly all the Fleming money went back in to the team including the purchase of Ivanovic. It’s the model a club of our size has to follow. FFP dictates that.

Very smart business model. Find these gems in Europe and if they hit , sell them for big money. Would expect Ivanovich if he continues the form he was in to have Jan interest.

And it's always been the way well run clubs can compete with richer ones. Brentford regularly sold their best players in the Championship, the likes of Maupay, Benrahma and Watkins, but reinvested well.

Spent 5M on him, if a small club like Millwall can afford to drop that kind of money on one player no clue how we’re meant to compete at this level.

£5m feels steep for a 22yr old with a middling goalscoring record. Thought he looked good a couple of seasons back for Bristol Rovers on loan but that's it.

Gives Boro the money & squad space to sign DKD.

Atleast things are beginning to start moving in the transfer market though….for other clubs anyway! 😀

    Not too sure about that.

Sam Smith, Ryan Hardie, Max Cleworth, Arthur Okonkwo, Oli Rathbone, James McClean, Ryan Barnett, are all good players. Then our ex- players like Dobson and O'Connell have done really well there.

There's also the fact they finished 7 points above us, didn't lose to us and absolutely demolished us at their place if we are honest. I don't see how we have the better squad in these circumstances.

I am done with underestimating them personally. They were the most rounded team other than Birmingham I saw us play all season, and their home support was miles better than any other ground I visited. They're in a great position footballing wise.
    OConnell doing well ? 😂
If you watch the goals they have conceded he’s responsible for about half of them.

My god, if 5m gets you 5 goals in 20 games in the Championship then football is well and truly fucked.

O'Connell in the championship will get absolutely destroyed. Dobson will have to learn he can't dive in all the time too.

O'Connell wouldn't get anywhere near our side even as depth I'd rather have Alex and Zach Mitchell.

Just don't get the hype with Wrexham in general , just because they've got Hollywood owners that make social media videos and throw a few quid around.

Shows you how tough the championship will be when smaller fanbase clubs like Preston, Millwall & QPR are throwing massive wages / fees at new players.
