Apparently we’re in for Caleb Taylor, CB from WBA. Was on loan at Wycombe last season. Any good?

They had a pretty solid defence last year, seem to remember he was good in the air and all their defence had a dirty/fighty streak in them

Excellent player. Am surprised WBA would sell him tbh. Thought he'd go back in their first team.

Especially as he signed a 4 year deal last summer.

The reporting is that they've rejected a £2.5-3m bid so they still might not sell

I’ve heard they WANT around 2.5/3 mill but we’ve gone in with a silly 1.5

    probably just testing the water.

Assume he'd be a Tanganga replacement? Would fit the profile of the type of player you'd go after to replace him with.

I thought Taylor and Bradley were outstanding against us in the Play-Off Semi-Final two legs.

The 23-year-old winger turned down numerous options to sign for the R’s, and he explained: “I feel like the project they're building here excites me and I want to be part of taking QPR to that next level.

Surprising comment. QPR have been a mid-table, occasional relegation fight, Championship side for a while now. Don't see that changing this season.

Their new manager is renowned for developing young players and will make QPR a much more attractive prospect IMO

Probably back up for now, but probably Coopers replacement when the time comes.

We already have a ready made replacement for Tanganga in Tristan Crama. Excellent player. Played mostly at right back last season for us but is a CB.

you would have LOVED to keep hold of Charlie Creswell .. interesting to see how much young English talent has gone to play in Europe .. there are far too many foreigners blocking their career development in English football nowadays

By the same token he’s hindering the development of a young French CB. Players playing around the world is good, brings different experiences and influences to the game

Wow.  That's an absolute steal.  Surprised it's Hull, too!

Must be some very decent extra clauses in there surely, performance and sell on payments etc. Certainly puts (the rumoured/hypothetical) 2.5mil for Galbraith in context.

Now some of the news outlets are saying that the Barry deal may be off as Hull does not have the financial resources to pay the various parties.

Didn't Hull loan Barry in January before he got injured?

Really surprised he would sign permanently for them.
