Only just caught up on this thread and it’s had me in tears. A really sad loss and sending my condolences to all of Redmidland’s family and loved ones.
RIP Malcolm, I’m glad you’re no longer in pain and suffering.
Redmidland was a member on here from 2009 and made 44,400 contributions. The era when Malc regularly used to do his match threads was probably my favourite era of this site (and general social media usage). He used to put so much effort into it he said he used to need a lie down afterwards!
Outside those of us who had the pleasure to meet him, there were literally hundreds on here that hadn’t, but he universally seemed to be liked and respected by all.
RIP RedM, thoughts with Angie. TCE, DaveStorry and his other close friends. I hope all the nice tributes on here can give some comfort

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the Chants that once we shared
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the master plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know.
Laugh at all the things we used to do
Miss me, but let me go.
Red Midland, forever a voice on the terraces, forever a Charlton Brother..Rest easy..keep singing from above.
