    Those were mine, 3 of them have now left us but two still here.
    A funny story behind that photo, it was after a Charlton game and Wally was staying here overnight, we’d been out for a beer and I told him JJ was in the house and he would charge at him and bark, he wouldn’t bite.
    So stand your ground without making eye contact and all would be good, unfortunately on this particular night JJ had a complete brake failure and hit Wally straight in the nuts with his head, he shut like a book. 
    The dogs all gathered round him wondering why this human was making a whimpering sound. 
    JJ will be waiting for him at the bridge this morning 😉😥

    Meant in the best way possible and hopefully not offended, but Wally's photo always reminds me of Grouty of Porridge...🤔

    I will always treasure those moments the three of us spent together predominantly at the football, but also occasionally without seeing a ball being kicked. 

    I still glaze over when I remember the day we visited you in hospital and as I kissed your forehead knowing it would be a last goodbye.
    As I promised I keep in touch with Angie and your family.

    The bottom photo was February 2005 in the Centenary Calendar which I have had laminated and is on permanent display.  Little have I known that there are two much loved characters in the photo.
