I’m still banking on Blackburn’s run-in. Can’t see them getting another point.
Don’t they play Leicester at home?
    Final day

If Pompey are beating Ipswich, whats to say we won't beat Ipswich ourselves?
Few on here should try having some belief in the team they "supposedly" support
What's "supposedly' supporting about being to see how poor we are yet still continue to go and even buy season tickets for next season despite the fact that there's a reasonable chance it might be in League One. "Support" doesn't mean being unable to face facts. Facing facts and still supporting is real support
What... the biggest fact remains that with scores the way they are... We're still no closer to the relegation zone than before the night commenced... Is it that "fact" that you mean? - Yet we've still got comments of: "Ooo if only we played like a team who still sit a point behind us"
Bit of a strange argument. I bet Arsenal wish they were playing like Man City, except that can’t be right, because they’re above them in the league.

Leicester at home last game who could (and should) be relegated by then.

Leicester might be relegated by that point, so perfect match for Blackburn.

The 'if we don't beat Wednesday we're down' brigade are quite funny. I know we should beat them, they're terrible and it will suck if we don't, but we have always struggled to beat the teams around us while getting wins against Ipswich and Boro and getting points off Coventry, Saints, Hull and Derby in the top 8. We're a weird team. After the Wendies game there's 3 more chances to get to 52 points which might even be more than we need anyway. Some very weak constitutions knocking about, there's a few people on here who I never want to see accusing any players of being spineless again given how quickly they roll over as soon as other teams score goals in games we're not even involved in!
We don't always see eye to eye Mr. Manilow, but you are absolutely bang on the money here. Embarrassing reactions

Anything can happen regarding us beating Ipswich, but we haven't been very good at home have we?

So unless we turn that around and start playing with the desire of this Portsmouth performance, I suggest we won't.

That's what happens when you adopt a "Wuss" attitude. How many games scoring not more than one goal, or no goals at all? Can't somebody just tell the guy that you need to score at least one goal to win? It is not rocket science. Nathan Jones, dross, unimaginative football, dross results. Rid of.

Shame there isn't an option to resign from the league at this stage and save us all the stress.
I can't see where the next goal is going to come from let alone points and i bet the players feel the same, especially if they are watching these games tonight. Worrying times.

Coventry and Docherty are both going to score their first goals of the season on Saturday!

Imagine we need to beat Oxford on the last day of the season to get second spot and stop you lot being relegated 😁

Imagine Southampton coming from nowhere, and claim second spot 😁

There's more chance of Mannion getting his first of the season, heading home a Ramsay corner.

Oxford will do well to pick 5 points from their games I feel.

Still far more ropey than it should’ve been at this stage from where we have been.

Wouldn't surprise me with their run in , I know they've got City in the FA Cup semi thrown in there but league wise it's Swansea,Bristol City, Ipswich and Preston as their run in.

This is exactly right. Is it comfortable, no, should we be in this position, probably also no and it's our own failings that put us here BUT are we teetering above the drop in imminent peril? NO.

Ipswich clearly have taken their scouting of us ahead of next week a bit literally tonight.

There’s more chance of this happening than my hypothetical scenario. That’s why I used the word imagine
