What’s the significance of these being announced post 5pm ? I’m not sure why given we are not on the final of the window.

Yea it is a little unusual eh.

Still not sure we’ll see any incomings today. Trying not to get my hopes up

A 23 year old keeper from Gateshead, doubt that was on anyone's radar

Would expect so as he's gone back there as manager for a second time.

This feels like almost Alfie May levels of Jones doing something that the fanbase really disagrees with. Hopefully he’s right on this one as well
Who says that he was right on May?

The fact we got promoted with Godden’s goals and hold up play.

Godden being our top scorer in a promotion season does. Jones has made mistakes and may well make more but he's got it right before too, no point rewriting history here.

Don't lets get tied up on whether selling May was right or wrong...

The fact his replacement (Godden) fired us to the championship and May's team Birmingham got rid as soon as they got promoted too, and now he's playing in League 1 yet again?

The scouting team must have seen something otherworldly to go out and get him

Jones must not highly rate any of the current GK crop in the academy

You can’t look at our summer window and think that Jones can be trusted to make any significant transfer decisions Apter and Tanto gone what a joke

Rodwell talking about freeing up space for someone that can make an immediate impact I hope isn't referring to Coady and we've got some attacking targets lined up.

The one thing modern football has right, especially at the very top level, is not letting managers/head coaches sign players. We’ve decided to let Jones run the show. He shouldn’t be allowed after this.

Striker and a Winger out, defender in.

    Jones football in a nutshell.

We’re in a significantly stronger position. Absolutely buzzing with that!

As far as I’m concerned Jones can do one . What does he have against players who have quality and skill . I look forward to a couple of overweight , crocked defenders from Luton coming in .

He doesn’t like their defensive weaknesses.

The issue is he probably takes that too far. Still tries going with two defensive wing backs, but they just puts even more pressure on us when we have a team who treat the ball like a hot potato.
I really can’t think of a manager we’ve had in the last 40 years who’s been so afraid of playing positive attacking football.
    Get rid now
Who you bringing in to replace him?
As I’ve said before is go for Dave Challoner at Stockport but if we had to go down the ex Charlton route I’d ask Powell even though he’s said he wouldn’t manage again.
No way challoner comes to the valley
Martin Pringle wont make a "legends" return if he does, thats for sure!
