  • I hope that lineup plays better than it looks because it looks awful. Jones clearly has no idea of his best XI.

Docherty bombed out for a few games, now back in.
Coventry last 4 games, just 1 start.
JRC last 4 - start, bench, start, bench.
Anderson 3 starts now not even on the bench.

Coady hasn't started a league game since September, surely he isn't match fit?

Leaburn and Dykes as a partnership doesn't exactly inspire either. Surely one of them + Kelman would be better.

Let's hope and pray we can somehow shit house a result out of this.

Under 2.5 goals and Carey to be booked nearly 9/1
I've put £10 on Coady to score at 19/1

It’s either going to be a tactical masterclass or an embarrassing response to last week to get more defensive and field a centre back who hasn’t played since Sep as a holding midfielder- I’ve never ever known Coady as a holding midfielder.

i will look on in amazement at what plays out

Luckily now we have strengthened the defence we can unleash Campbell to terrorise their defence now that he isn’t playing in the back 15 yards of the pitch

oh wait, nope, on the bench.
  • Feeling positive today. Team and squad looks strong.  A point will be great, a win even better.

I'm actually quite optimistic with that line up.

The big unknown is what we've been up to in training all week, and will we 'turn up', and remain focused.

But, yeah, I'm hopeful a corner will be turned this afternoon.
Hopefully with the team of giants we've got today, we will have plenty of corners and someone decent to take them.
  • Docherty straight back in after being bombed for 3 weeks.

    Our managers a weirdo.
It’s a wild suggestion, but could he have had a knock or some personal things outside of football going on.
No, he definitely 100% fell out with the manager. I know that for a fact. Sorry just the way it is. Don’t ask any follow up questions or how I know, just understand that I know that they fucking hate each other and actually had it out at sparrows lane. Weird he’s been picked today

Can you at least tell us who sparked who out?

My moneys on Doc knocking Jonesy out and that’s why he’s back in the lineup as he’s clearly asserted his dominance. Was missing the last couple weeks recovering from a broken nose from a good right hook from Jonesy however.

We could only have a slower midfield if we had signed a couple of players called Plate Tectonics and Treacle

Actually think if Coady is in midfield then Anderson alongside would be ideal. Coady does the organising and positional work, Anderson does the running and covering the ground.

Anyone know where I can get some of that white insulation tape from?
    Any good DIY store.
  • One aspect that I really hope today is that we see leadership out there
"Cheesey" clique, but we've got the experience of Dykes, Coady, Docherty, Jones and Bell out there today

That's a strong line up. Good news that Bell is back and Coady comes straight in probably as a defensive midfielder. Docherty with a point to prove I hope

I understand a lot of the criticism Jones gets, but we’ve had a big turnover in players in recent weeks - so of course he’s not going to know the best XI currently.

    You watch.

We'll have all our "giants" up for a corner which will then be sent in 6 inches off the ground

The first 4 or 5 pages of these comments absolutely reek of a 2-0 away win.

You could add to this Kelman - just started finding a bit of form , scored 2 goals at Blackburn then out of the starting line up.

Brooks on the bench...? - Fevrier with the next number to annoy the fans, picking "77"
He has probably done it to make the number of minutes he will get this season.

That is undeniably a starting 11. I don't like Leaburn and Dykes together as it is but it also robs you of being able to bring a lump on later when it becomes time to sling the ball in. Coady at holding midfield is also certainly something. There's always been minor concerns about Coventry's pace so going slower on that is interesting. On the flip side we have repeatedly and consistently allowed goals through cutbacks to the edge of our box with no-one to cut them out. Coady will definitely do that better. There's pace an possibility on the bench so if we can keep ourselves in the game they won't like Campbell and Fevrier coming on later. Though Fevrier has chosen the number 77 shirt and so must be killed. Most importantly though, Bell is back. That's huge

I give up ...docherty back in wowww
  • Fun fact; Of the games that Coady has played in the Championship across his career, he's played more times as a Defensive Midfielder at this level (65-games), than what he has done at Centre-Back (58-games)

Leicester havent kept a clean sheet in 23 and third worst defence in the league according to coms.

Let's see if we can take advantage of that, win today is a massive result.

You can prove anything with facts.
