Course, the main question this whole thread has brought up is - before the internet, who was your main go to?

    Barbara (off The Good Life)?
    Polly (off Fawlty Towers)?

It’s been 5 days. You seem desperate to throw some doubt onto this but I’m unsure why. Do you expect press releases at every stage of negotiations?

I really want him to sign. I think it’s a worthwhile gamble for us. If he’s been with us for a week I think given the month is February and games are getting less that both parties would conclude fairly quickly.

Antonio's concrete offer was never on - club wanted tarmac and were right to hold out - Ferdinand has agreed and starts filling the potholes on Monday.

Felicity Kendall’s nipple slip is up there as strangest tangent in a player rumour thread on CL.

Are we weighing up whether we need him or is it too expensive to insure him? I think his injury was very serious and career threatening and you'd imagine he would just be happy to get a gig.

I reckon his car insurance would be more expensive.

The delay on this might even be due to Leaburn injury possibly not being as bad as feared, hopefully that is the case anyway

Currently a pundit for TNT on the Grimsby pitch, would that be happening if he was with us?
    Yes
Ok, well if so let’s hope he’s 100% focused on still being a footballer.
We have a long history of players finishing their careers with us whilst starting their media work - John Solako, Mark Bright, John Barnes, Jimmy Floyd H spring to mind

    Conor Coady 👍🏻

Hero...Wembley 1998 in the 85th minute, "making space" 😉 for Rufus to nod in the equaliser...

He's been set to sign for over a week now.

The injury can't be fully healed enough to play imo.
The rumour began 4 days ago, how long is a week where you are?
He’s still on the three-day week from the 70s’ oil shortage.
  • Might be because Godden injured

Antonio will be signed immediately after the Portsmouth game, so that he can slot in at RWB to replace the suspended Clarke, after he gets two yellow cards.

Well if Berry gets a game then we have nothing to lose if Antonio signs.... Dykes needs help, he's doing everything at present.

If he watched that tonight he’ll run a mile - even on a dodgy leg.

Was he at the game last night anyone know?
  • Yes I hope we sign another player who's barely played in a year. Just what we need!

To be fair (last night aside) the players we signed in January who’ve hardly kicked a ball have done ok so far. Also, if you’re trying to sign players in mid-February then you’ll be left with very few options.
