Blokes a millionaire anyway, and might just think he'll earn a few more quid working down the road.
Know what offer I'd take, being in the same position5 -

More sheep in qatar?1

The Qatari league season only has 7 games left and it ends in early April. Can't see why a team would bother signing him now when he's probably not even going to be match fit for a while.3

Come on - someone must be having lunch up the Shard, or some such place, with a well informed friend this afternoon?0

Sick of the whole saga now. I hope we dont sign him and he sods off to the desert.(Obvously I'll cheer is first hattrick as loudly as anyone)5

Alwaysneil said:So not content with taking players on loan and getting them fit for their clubs we are now taking them in for training to get fit to join another club. Quite the charity.
My theory always was, since CR7 (not that I am comparing them) did the same with his Portuguese teammates, was that we have many Jamaican players and he was prepping for the playoff with them.0 -
Antonio will go to a club who will pay top dollar for his services, I do not think for one minute it will be us!5

I don't think any club is paying top dollar for a guy who almost died and hasn't played senior football for over 14 months.StanTheMan said:Antonio will go to a club who will pay top dollar for his services, I do not think for one minute it will be us!20 -

I think if he was signing for us he would've done so by now.
Imagine he's had a better offer/offers6 -
If that’s the case it’s no big loss .Gravesend_Addick said:I think if he was signing for us he would've done so by now.

Get a player we need, not what we want0 -
Taking his effing time. By the time he does sign he WILL be 36 😄4
-
Why on earth would anyone be against signing him? Just don’t get it.The contract won’t be for longer than 4 months, he won’t make us any worse, there is no other viable free agent solution, if it comes off then great, if not then we are no different to what we are now.12

Sign him up. Our forwards are ineffective as it is so another option wouldn't go amiss. Especially as I read Godden is injured again3

Yes Godden is out for two weeks minimum. Knowing Charlton it will be longer. I too see no downside to the Antonio signing if he is ready to play now.BigRedEvil said:Sign him up. Surely if he was ready to play, he would be playing somewhere already? On top of that we don’t know what we are going to get from him, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if this deal has any positive result for CAFC, but not holding my breath on this one.1

He hasn't even been seen at The Valley. Doesn't look likely now personally.ForeverAddickted said:2 -
He can link up with Charlton academy legend and goalkeeper Ahmed Kone who is on the bench for them tonight.ForeverAddickted said:2 -
But yeah going all the way to Qatar to watch a game does seem indicative…3
