There you are TheHerminator, you "coach" children near Dartford and never actually go to The Valley. And you are the first to pipe up with your ignorant bile - kill Communists, hang out the St George's flag, and shoot anyone who talks to your disabled mother. You are an idiot.TheHerminator said:33 -

What's his route to the first team? Mbick is younger and already ahead of him in the pecking order. Leaburn made 38 appearances last season. That's two young strikers in the squad in the next few years - if we add a third, that's probably only space for one senior striker.se9addick said:
I don’t really understand why we’re selling him at all, and for not a huge amount of money it seems. We sent him on loan last season to develop and he had basically the best season a young striker can have on loan. I’d want to keep him on an extended contract for a few more years and get him another good loan.AberystwythAddick said:I find it odd that Kanu at a minimum hasn’t left yet. We must be asking for a decent amount if that’s the case
The real answer was to not keep Godden on. Think Kanu would have given us more playing up top on his own than Godden based on the evidence of pre-season and the Derby game7 -

Any idea if it's a loan or a perm?Weegie Addick said:Okonkwo has always enjoyed playing at The Valley and I hear on good authority (though my source is not connected to CAFC) that he likes our fans and that has been key in his decision. Welcome, Arthur!5 -

What exactly has happened with Kaminski for him to fall out with the club so dramatically and vice versa0

Are there really posters on here that aren't aware of the brilliant Viewfinder Dulwich Hamlet pre season posts!cafc4life said:

I mean there is a difference between refusing to play him "on principle" and him losing his place to a perfectly good player in their own right. McNamara is much more proven as a defender at this level and on current evidence does deserve to be playing, if that changes for reasons of either form or tactics then we are lucky to have someone as good as Ramsay as the alternative.Garrymanilow said:
We should absolutely be playing our best players if we want to stay up. We won our first game but it's going to be a very long season, dropping one of our better defenders out of spite because he might be choosing to see out the last year of his agreed period of playing for us would be the kind of stupid you can see from spacePelling1993 said:
For the record I think Ramsay is the better player. Just don't think we should be playing a player that has no intention of being here next summer (if he doesn't sign a new deal). Ramsay is good but hardly pivotal.Braziliance said:
That is how I see it. Kayne is very important for us in bringing the ball forwards and getting us out of the press, I don't see that in Danny.soapboxsam said:ButtleJR said:
Completely agree, I'd even go as far as to say McNamara looks a better full back than Ramsey.Pelling1993 said:
Based on Danny Mc's first few games I wouldn't be starting Ramsay (when fit) until he commits his future to us personally.Braziliance said:Out

Mid-table Championship won't know what's hit them.
(Fully aware this is very football manager)
Judge McNamara when he has a really good Championship winger against him.
Danny is decent but I would need to see him in different scenarios to say he's better than Ramsay who in the majority of games has been excellent.
After his two games against Millwall he isn't on the same high pedestal with CAFC fans as he was before.
I was a poster that would point out some of his weaknesses pre Millwall but I still think Kayne is an excellent Championship player that I would like to see stay.
Ramsay in a flat back 4 could be a very important player for us, there was times at the weekend where we struggled on that side to get the ball moving, how many times have we seen Kayne glide down the wing, move it into the middle and got the team moving.
I'd be delighted if Ramsay stays. He isn't the finished article, but has a great chance to progress here and we also would benefit from him to progress as a club.2 -

For sure, if McNamara earns his place and Ramsay can't get in as a result then that's a great position for us to be in. But not playing Ramsay because he might not be here next summer is crazy.thenewbie said:

The club cut mayo from Friday's chips to save money. Kaminski's now refusing to train until it's reinstated.8

@TheHerminator is referring to French fries not chips. French fries with mayo? Well whatever floats your boat.
Chips are fat and long, crispy on the outside and fluffy within, and smothered in salt and vinegar.
My Mrs has chips with mayo, she's a wrong un.3 -

Finally we're getting into the important topics!
If it's fried potato in any form, then mayo is king. Only exception would be if I was having fish & chips, then it's tartar sauce or curry sauce.0
