Agreed - macnamara was solid but Ramsay offers a lot more and has that X factor which we will needBraziliance said:
That is how I see it. Kayne is very important for us in bringing the ball forwards and getting us out of the press, I don't see that in Danny.soapboxsam said:ButtleJR said:
Completely agree, I'd even go as far as to say McNamara looks a better full back than Ramsey.Pelling1993 said:
Based on Danny Mc's first few games I wouldn't be starting Ramsay (when fit) until he commits his future to us personally.Braziliance said:Out
Kaminski, Docherty, Asiimwe, Kanu, Apter, JRC/Knibbs
In
Holsgrove, JRS, Okonkwo
Mid-table Championship won't know what's hit them.
(Fully aware this is very football manager)
Judge McNamara when he has a really good Championship winger against him.
Danny is decent but I would need to see him in different scenarios to say he's better than Ramsay who in the majority of games has been excellent.
After his two games against Millwall he isn't on the same high pedestal with CAFC fans as he was before.
I was a poster that would point out some of his weaknesses pre Millwall but I still think Kayne is an excellent Championship player that I would like to see stay.
Ramsay in a flat back 4 could be a very important player for us, there was times at the weekend where we struggled on that side to get the ball moving, how many times have we seen Kayne glide down the wing, move it into the middle and got the team moving.
I'd be delighted if Ramsay stays. He isn't the finished article, but has a great chance to progress here and we also would benefit from him to progress as a club.1 -
Wouldn't want either playing against Millwall though!DOUCHER said:

D Mac can get f**ked. He knew all along what Southall was like.18

They’d be nowhere without him.MarcusH26 said:
Yeah I've got a friend that's a posh fan and he just wants DMac gone and proper owners.fenaddick said:DMac has got so embarrassing I don't even have the heart to rib Posh supporting colleagues about him anymore, it must be awful for themTook Peterborough on a hell of a journey. It’s not going well now but to say he’s not a proper owner is so stupid8 -
I'd welcome CBT or Small for that role. Maybe not actually...Champs85 said:The key part of JRS playing in this team is that he scares the opposition just like TC does. Imagine them on each wing. It means the other team have to decide which side to double up on, thus dropping deep and creating space in the middle. We don’t need him to score or assist necessarily, just run at them. If he signs I really rate our chances of a top half finish this season.0 -

Braziliance said:It's a bit off topic, but sometimes I worry about us as a club, and then I see 'Dmacs' tweets and realise we are so far ahead of where we were 3 years ago that it's quite insane.
Look at the state of him.
Jesus 😂 someone had been on the sauce0 -
Do you mean nearly every country that does this? or nearly every country in the world does this? it's an important distinction.Cafcmunich said:
Belgium?, or you mean nearly every country in the world where mayo is the preferred condiment for the fried potatoe?EugenesAxe said:
Chips should never have mayo on then, Belgium wrong uns.SantaClaus said:The club cut mayo from Friday's chips to save money. Kaminski's now refusing to train until it's reinstated.

Inside training on YouTube, not 1 part with the goalkeepers, maybe they are trying to hide a certain someone.18

No Lloydy unless I missed him? Good to see Phoenix Valentine with the first team.3

With the rumours of mcatee seeing Knibbs leave wouldn’t overly surprise me0

Looked like they were doing individual work away from the group at the end, wonder if they'll be back just before the international breakDDOUBLEE said:

If not, they absolutely should be back when it ends.fenaddick said:

Having just read three pages of bollocks about sauces, I would like to withdraw my comment on the ‘Happy 20th birthday, Charlton Life’ thread.31

Plenty of time for a fluke injury or set back then, in true Charlton style.fenaddick said:

But that's exactly what he has done if we can believe the reports (& I think Rich Cawley was one) Holsgrove was approached & he said he wasn't interested in coming to Charlton.ShootersHillGuru said:
I really don’t think it’s like that at all. He has options and still some time to get things absolutely right for himself. I’m sure he has preferences and why wouldn’t he wait and see what materialises. I don’t think he sees us as somewhere he doesn’t want to be but more like he’s waiting to see if there’s a bigger club and more money. Why wouldn’t he.king addick said:I honestly hope Holsgrove doesn't come here.
He clearly doesn't want too and if he did then that's because he has no other choice. I understand the mechanics of football enough to know that, whilst we are outside the premier league, players will come here and possibly move on to bigger and better things but if you are here, actually give it you're all in that time.0 -

Can’t help notice that Viewfinder used the word “vile” an awful lot…did he end up becoming an Orient fan?? 🤔😉Gillis said:PeaksAndValleys said:Quite hard to pay serious attention to this right back chat in the midst of that viewfinder reference. Sounds like an all timer

Any idea if it's a loan or a perm?Weegie Addick said:Okonkwo has always enjoyed playing at The Valley and I hear on good authority (though my source is not connected to CAFC) that he likes our fans and that has been key in his decision. Welcome, Arthur!
Erm probably a loan I reckon
