Agree it’s doubtful but if Jones is ruthless like he said then It could happen if we move a few on in the next week.MarcusH26 said:Think signing Ouma and the amount of squad movement you'd have to do to free up a slot makes Holsgrove a non starter now.
It's Charlton's valuation that's causing them to hesitate.
Charlton have a valuation for a full international striker, and people moan the valuation is putting people off.
If they sold him for £250k, the same people would moan we sold him 'on the cheap'...
I was not for moment suggesting that we give Kanu away cheaply.
But I was saying that clubs are hesitating over our valuation.
No one is saying Kanu is not worth that valuation, after proving himself as a goalscorer in League Two.
The interest has come from League One clubs so far - and our valuation is a lot of money for most of those clubs.
That's why they are hesitating.

It's a smart move for both parties. We should want players that want to be here, not Holsgrove who doesn't.
His family and friends are all Millwall and there's no way he'd come here.25 -
Could be playing a waiting game - get him on loan for this season and sign him as a free agent next year.Oggy Red said:

Mid-table Championship won't know what's hit them.
(Fully aware this is very football manager)
Judge McNamara when he has a really good Championship winger against him.
Danny is decent but I would need to see him in different scenarios to say he's better than Ramsay who in the majority of games has been excellent.
After his two games against Millwall he isn't on the same high pedestal with CAFC fans as he was before.
I was a poster that would point out some of his weaknesses pre Millwall but I still think Kayne is an excellent Championship player that I would like to see stay.15 -
Maybe. I'm pretty sure I read Jacko wanted Kanu on loan at Wimbledon, but said they couldn't afford to sign him permanently.billysboots said:

Maybe the player and club are hoping that a Championship club with some cash come in and take a punt on him - a Cardiff or Lincoln, perhaps?
But still 2 weeks of the window left - plenty of time to see how it pans out0 -

Yeah good job Ronnie, Liverpool definitely made an offer to buy out Konsa's sell on clause didn't they? MuppetRonnieMoore said:3 -

That is how I see it. Kayne is very important for us in bringing the ball forwards and getting us out of the press, I don't see that in Danny.soapboxsam said:ButtleJR said:

Ramsay in a flat back 4 could be a very important player for us, there was times at the weekend where we struggled on that side to get the ball moving, how many times have we seen Kayne glide down the wing, move it into the middle and got the team moving.
I'd be delighted if Ramsay stays. He isn't the finished article, but has a great chance to progress here and we also would benefit from him to progress as a club.7 -

It's an interesting point, considering that TC and Grant haven't looked great on the right. Would they look better over there with a different full back? Ramsay isn't exactly an attacking fullback but he's more comfortable up the pitch than McNamara from the looks of itBraziliance said:

No championship club goes in for Kanu you won’t punt on a player 2 tiers below the level especially with the increasing gap in quality and for 1M.Oggy Red said:

But still 2 weeks of the window left - plenty of time to see how it pans outUnless he goes abroad, Barnsley if they sell Clearly, and Plymouth are his only two viable options at the moment as every L1 club have sorted their striker position and even then considering Plymouth went for a cheap deal on Evans they may not even have the money we’re asking for.0 -

We should absolutely be playing our best players if we want to stay up. We won our first game but it's going to be a very long season, dropping one of our better defenders out of spite because he might be choosing to see out the last year of his agreed period of playing for us would be the kind of stupid you can see from spacePelling1993 said:
