    8 days left of the window, you’d like to think they would want incomings done before deadline day, ideally before the spurs games so whoever joins can be bedded into the squad before Preston.
    If it’s not JRS I hope plan B is of the required level.

    I’m sure we’ve got a long list of plan B options, some more might even become available between now and the deadline. We also have a plan C in Rob Apter so we’re in a pretty good position to wait it out and hopefully get our first choice target

    I’d file this very much under an idea which sounds good on the socials, but the practicalities behind it mean it more than likely won’t happen.
