    I've said it once, and I'll say it again. We're well covered on the right. No-one knows JRS is going to be better than Grant. And Grant has far more experience in the Championship than JRS. And we have cover with Apter and Alli. Maybe NJ has decided to look somewhere else? Maybe we should temper our expectations a little?

    TC replying to a random Charlton fan asking him to "announce JRS" with "Say no more" on Snapchat sounds very, very much like something is imminent, to me. I can't see him saying stuff like this without it basically being there.

    Incidentally I believe Okonkwo being a 'reasonable' loan rather than an expensive one or a perm - was a big step in helping us with the funds for JRS..... lots needed to fall in to place and that was quite a big element.

    I think we had budget for one big signing this summer. We had targeted Holsgrove to be that but he didn’t want to join, so we signed Chalobah and Ouma without spending too much on the midfield and instead will use the money on Rak-Sakyi
