Living up here so far this season it has been fantastic!! Normally I’m deluged with messages in the build up to games, after the games, mostly telling me how great they are and how the Championship is just a stepping stone to greater things. So far it’s been very quiet !! lol long may it continueeastterrace6168 said:

And that is all that needs to be said by the club etc. I'm not wanting or expecting any details of his medical history fgs. Just more than a hissy fit by our manager & tweets of "its off" by journos.Airman Brown said:
Both factors are in play here - medical and representation. The situation is unfortunate all round. Don't believe the medical issue is career ending of itself, stops him playing now or that it's heart-related. As others have said, it's about risk against the scale of the commitment for Charlton.SouthLincsAddick said:
So you’re demanding the club and respected journalists release sensitive and private medical information and potentially devalue the parent club’s asset and impact the player’s career just to satisfy your curiosity. Sometimes you just need to think a little before you post.golfaddick said:
According to Louis Mendez on Charlton Live on thurs evening it was to do with his old agent wanting to muscle in on the deal. Pages back I equated it to an Estate Agent wanting their fee after you ditched them for a new EA who then sells your house.Ducktapeshoerepairs said:Sorry. Just catching up. So did JRS deal fall
apart due to a medical or was it his agent asking for more money ?
But in true football style no one knows. Well they do, but they don't want to tell the most important people......the fans. Ju st like when we were under a transfer embargo back at the start of 2020. Football people knew but went along with our "chairman" and his super duper phone.
Football is so opaque you could take a shower and no-one would see your cock & balls.
Please don’t equate the fraudulent actions of Southall to this situation, that is very distasteful.8 -
Was gonna call my old springer Otto, but his KC name was Tawneyhill Humphrey and it suited him, so I kept it.
That's the best anecdote I can come up with0 -
Don't be rude.....But we can offer to loan a promising youngster 😉eastterrace6168 said:

No, as we’ve learned over the past couple of days it’s not a done deal until the club announce it.Sword65pf said:So are we assuming the Bindon loan is pretty much a done deal?, not seen anymore about it.5 -
Sorry mate, it’s confidential negotiations between clubs, you do not have the right to know that information. As mentioned before it will impact a players career and his value. I’m really surprised you’d think your need to know comes before that.golfaddick said:

Especially as being a loan player, he counts towards the 25 man squad if we ever wanted to use him in the first team - all loan players count towards the limit.fenaddick said:Am I the only one who thinks loaning someone for the u21s is a bit odd? Even if the intention is to make it perm1 -
Only if we choose to register him. But if we don’t, he can only play for the first team in the FA Cupkillerandflash said:

The World renouned source of football information “Footiebite Daily” just posted this random rumour on Facebook!
Charlton Set to Land Finnish Midfield Prospect Otto Tiitinen on Loan.
Charlton Athletic are closing in on a deal for 18-year-old Finnish midfielder Otto Tiitinen from Ilves, according to reports.
The Championship side are expected to take the central midfielder on loan with an option to buy, as they continue to bolster their squad.
Tiitinen is due to undergo a medical on Monday ahead of the move. The young Finland youth international has already drawn attention as a promising talent coming through the ranks at Ilves.3 -

I’d guess it would be more like an extended trial with him playing for the u21s and seeing how he compares vs them and the first team in training, especially physically.

If he can progress to the first team in a year or so he might be worth a significant fee, but even half a million would be a lot for us on a player who’s not at that level yet.
Edit: RC has confirmed this is happening.

I think it might actually be a striker given how injury prone Godden and Kelman have been (a guess, no info!)MarcusH26 said:
CB - Bindon ✅
RW - Obgene but looks like off to Stoke.
ST - Was more a maybe but name given Jebbison. Bournemouth have injuries and he did come on at City last weekend. Godden not back for least 6 weeks so let’s see on that one6 -

How very bizarre and exciting!! - Hopefully not the next Anal Koc or Polish PeteThe opening day of the 2025 season was heavily anticipated in Finland, because Norwich City legend Teemu Pukki was making a return to the Veikkausliiga after 14 years abroad. HJK Helsinki duly led at Ilves, but then a 16-year-old stole the show. Tiitinen came on as substitute for the hosts, provided an assist for an equalising goal and then made it 3-2 himself with a brilliant shot into the top corner. It was quite a way to announce himself, and hopes are high that the versatile midfielder will grow into a major star. Tiitinen is a smart and dedicated footballer, who loves to read and play chess in his free time. Injury prevented him from playing more this year, but now he is healthy – and has high ambitions. “My parents taught me that I should always dream. The most important thing is to believe in myself. I know that I will be playing for a top club,” he said. Michael Yokhin1
