    Found another Soumano video.

    Not sure how convinced I am off this: looks like he can hold it up, put his body about a bit, and make things awkward for defenders. Not enough on his aerial presence for me but he looks like a Dykes-type option to me from the way he moves and interacts with defenders. Can have a go with both feet... I think his technical proficiency leaves a little to be desired though.

    Hey, I just think it's funny. Especially that his banning and your joining happened on the exact same day.

    And if you are 'joseth plum', if you will, I'm not calling for you to be banned again. If anything, you've proved you can post on here and not derail every single thread. It's just a shame you couldn't have done that years ago.

    A better alternative than Olaofe to TC is a position we need to fill.

    Given he was a back up starter and a regular off the bench for a mid table top tier French club I can imagine he’d be a better bet than giving Olaofe another go.

    I'm fairly impressed actually, I agree that he's probably not going to be the most technically gifted but I think his physicality is what we're interested in. Kelman is probably going to be the "goal scorer" (with backup from Godden perhaps), Soumano is our hypothetical Dykes replacement (albeit looks a tad more pacy) to be a physical presence and nuisance and Leaburn is the jack-of-all-trades who does a bit of both depending on the needs at the time.


    I'm not saying that Soumano himself is definitely one we are/should be after but I do think someone of his general profile and style ought to be on the shopping list.

    I see the fit here , looks like he can hold the ball up well , isn't the most technically impressive but I get the thinking if he's the Dykes replacement.

    I see Lorient wanted £5m for Soumano in last summers window, with Blackburn and Celtic allegedly sniffing around, so must have something about him. 

    To get him on a free a year later seems like good business, although no idea how good he actually is!

    Soumano could be crap but a 25 year old striker who I doubt is on good money considering his last deal was signed in the 2nd French tier, on a free who isn’t injury prone is just such minimal risk.

    We spent a combined 5.25M on Tanto, Kelman and Ahadme I’d bite your hand off for even a Lower CH striker on a free.
