"....before the start of the season..."

I bloody well hope so. That's 4 weeks away.

4 signings would line up with that Jones interview a week or two ago, so I don't think that counts as new news/rumours.

The Jones thing does just seem to be from that random kid sending out crap on twitter, throw enough at the wall and some of it will stick so he can say "I broke the story first". Clearly I missed my opportunity as a footie journalist.

Club have been impressive at keeping a lid on leaks this summer, doesn't help us on this thread though.

Stan Mills has not travelled to Oxford’s pre-season training camp in Spain. Sure he will end up in the championship and hopefully it will be with us

Really think he’s the perfect fit for what we need on the right hand side. Especially as I think he’d be fine doing the attacking wing back or just normal right winger roles so would be ideal if we plan on switching system more this season

And here we are again discussing LJ to West Ham as if it hasn’t been discussed already!

If there’s nothing happening be ok with that and don’t keep rehashing just for something to say or write.

He’s going to either stoke or Preston, and if we wanted him we wouldn’t be giving Redmond a trial.

Presuming we’re targeting 3-5 more players you would reckon a RB/RWB, CDM/CM, Winger are the absolute priorities with potentially another winger/midfielder/forward also possible.

You’re all idiots, West Ham are getting relegated.

    Put your house on it.

We need to bring in 2 right sided players. Giving Redmond a trial doesn’t mean he’s going to be one of them, could easily be we are working on Plan A or B and Redmond is more of a backup plan. I really doubt Redmond is plan A, we will surely be looking at better players and Redmond might end up being a bit of a bonus extra if he trials well

If our winger options this season are TC, Redmond and Apter then I really hope we aren’t going to be playing 4-2-3-1 very often. If we don’t sign Mills (given the likely interest it is unlikely for us), then I’m sure we will be looking for something similar even if Redmond does join

We had Lembikisa on trial last summer but later signed Bree on loan. The year before we had Teddy Bishop and later loaned Allan Campbell. I don’t think Redmond being on trial means much either way.

I’m not sure any of these 3 would surprise me if they were to come in.

Maja is an odd one never lived up to his potential post Sunderland.

Dike fits the big target man profile but is absolutely injury ravaged. Would expect he goes back to MLS.

    Wouldn't be against signing Maja

Any update about whether Danny Imray will be offered on loan ?

Maybe Palace will keep him for a while given that a lot of their players were at the World Cup so it might be a late decision.

Would expect that to be a very late move with a new manager and World Cup players coming back.

Maja forced through a lucrative move before he’d earned it really and has gone backwards ever since.  Needs to settle and re-find his form or he’ll drop like a stone.  If his head is on the game he could be a decent player but he’s just treading water currently

imray would be a superb signing in a position we need

If Imray is up for loan or even permanent doubt we’d have a chance of getting him over West Brom.

If we stick with a 4231 it’s up for debate whether we need to throw big wages/loan fees at a RB, personally think Ramsay is solid there and much rather see majority of the budget go into the midfield/wingers.

If we plan on a 352 absolutely need a RWB if West Brom do want Imray which judging by their fans they do would be very intrigued by Kabore at City, mixed reviews at Wrexham but fits how we use that RWB position very well

Imagine Dike and Dykes playing with each other.

Very agricultural football that would be.

Would hope we are in attendance here. Kabore probably the name that stands out here that might be realistic and in a position we need

Spike Brits is a name that sounds like a 70s punk.

If we are still planning on playing a hybrid LW/ST role like we have with TC in the past, then Karlan Grant on a free would be a good shout. Would imagine the wages might be a bit of a barrier for us though
