Would say it’s a bit of a concern if we can’t convince TC that we are a better option than Preston for the next phase of his career

We couldn’t convince Small. Maybe it’s all down to wages.
  • TC is not going anywhere.
You can’t say that with 100% certainty though

Judging by the Preston forums I wouldn't be so sure! Is that something you've heard?

He has frustrated me a lot but he works so hard and he's played the last two seasons out of position. I would love to see what he can do as a winger for us. I'm not sure whatever small fee we get will offset his loss. We lack ability going forwards and so far the only quality we had added is Karlan. We're not in a position to lose TC.

Small had pretty much agreed to go before our championship status was secured though

Hey may think that a fresh start would be the best for himself.

Some players need that clean slate to get going again

    Hang on, let me guess.

You know his family. Strangely, they are all life long Blackpool fans and they would never let him play for Preston.

TC was third in the POTY Vote last season.

Apter couldn’t even get on Bolton’s bench.

Would be worrying if he went to Preston.

Who going to buy TC on his performances last season plus if Campbell was leaving he would not be playing in pre season like Kanu ….
If TC goes to Preston will you be going with him, to hound him there?

Agent Small been in TC's ear about how good the lifestyle is and how much money he's making in a final fuck you to the club

Karoy and TC splitting a place in lancashire to save dough? £20 a month each gets you a lot up there.

Eff me, have you been to places like Preston lately ?

We were newly promoted then though. We’re supposed to be stepping up our budget year on year and TC is the kind of player we should be going all out for to keep

I still look at Andre Brooks signing for Norwich for £9m and really don’t think TC is that far behind him at all as a player. If we got him on a new contract and he even improved his output to 5 goals and 5 assists, not even a huge improvement on last season, then I think we are getting bids of £5m+ for him. Whatever his wage demands are now, financially we will benefit more by paying them and selling him on in a couple of years
  • I mean, it feels as much to do with reaching the end of the line with us more than anything, especially after the bollocks he's had to put up with the last couple of seasons from the crowd. Maybe it's just time to move on and PNE are the only ones who've coughed up the cash because they have some kind of weird stalker-like obsession with us.

We’ve really been on TCs case as a fanbase all season, we’ve booed him, we now have 3 left wingers. I’m surprised how shocked everyone is?

Jason Euell is a coach at Preston and he’d know a lot about what TC offers.

Can't be that bad if footballers keep moving that way, also I was taking the piss

Very very good point that I hadn't realised.

If Anderson & TC have gone then Leaburn is going to be getting all sorts of stick from Ronnie!

Ridiculous if we sell TC. I'd sooner sell Ramsay and reinvest.

Maybe TC is a big Steam Railway history fan?

Now the Alli deal makes sense
Signing a 3rd left inverse winger, when Grant is clearly a starter, made no sense unless TC was expected to move on, so this has a lot of logic.

If TC had signed a new contract, maybe we wouldn't have signed Alli, as the more obvious gap was on the right.

With the abuse Tyreece got last year I can't blame him one bit for jumping ship for a fresh start.
I'm disappointed as I think there's a hell of a player in there but it's hard to come back from fans chanting "f*ing useless" at one of their own players. Grant is likely a more consistent upgrade in his position anyway which is what we're going to need this year, if the money allows us to bring in the midfield upgrades we need then this could work for all involved. If I had the choice of selling one of the 3 boys that are out of contract next year, I would have gone with TC

Would be gutted to see him go. Hope there is nothing in it.

Would have to be a pretty huge fee for me to feel even remotely okay about it

Don’t worry. With Fullah and Mwamba coming through we’ve got the next generation of young black players for him to hate on

You’d imagine he would probably live in Manchester or Liverpool
