If as suggested £12k ish a week gets a new contract sorted with TC ( no idea if that’s realistic ) then it’s a complete no brainer with no downside. Even if he doesn’t step up over the next year he will stand the club in just over £500k he is always going to be worth more than that if we sold him next year4

Jones is absolutely essential so, unless our hand is forced by the player or a crazy money bid, imo, he stays this season regardless. However, as a late bloomer having his best years right now - will he still be at his current level in 3 or 4 years time? I think we offer him a new 3 or 4 year deal and hope he’s still doing the business into his mid 30s. But for him, if he wants a bigger Championship pay day (and perhaps a late shot at promotion to the Premier League), he probably needs to move sooner than later. Even waiting to next summer, although he’ll still have interest and be on a Bosman, other clubs may be less willing to give a 31 year old the length of contract and stability we might.
As you say, TC is farthest from the finished article, but with the potential to become an exciting and productive Championship winger, he has the highest potential future sale value if we secure him for another 4 years and sell in 2. Risk is he doesn’t deliver that potential but I suspect, even on an improved deal, it’d still be a relatively low cost gamble, if you can even truly describe it as a gamble. Certainly cheaper than signing an equivalent replacement, without digging up an uncut gem. If @JoshAddick has good intel, then TC wants to stay and we know NJ loves him so I’d be surprised if this one doesn’t get sorted out eventually.
Kane is an interesting one. He’s a Rolls Royce on his day but showed last year he still has stuff to learn. He’s picked up a few longer term injuries while with us now, too. I preferred him at right centre back to wing back, but I doubt he’ll play there in a two. Will be interesting to see how he does if we persist with a back four and he plays orthodox right back. He’s possibly not peaked yet but right backs rarely command huge fees (unless you’re Stoke buying Harry Clarke).If you were to say we had to sell one now to avoid losing all of them for free, it’d be Kane - but of course his injury will likely put off buyers for this window.
My prediction:
TC starts the season well and signs a new deal before January.Jones signs a new deal next summer but we’re all made to sweat on it.

I would disagree with the importance to the team now. I’d put Ramsay above TC, we have better alternatives to TC than we do Ramsay (not seen enough of McNamara so maybe I’m wrong), so losing him (although I really hope we don’t) would probably impact us less this season than losing the other 2Exiled_Addick said:

I may be alone in this but I’ve been quite underwhelmed with Kayne as an out and out right back rather than at right centre back, providing we can have a replacement in before he goes I’d be fine with cashing in now, I don’t want to see Danny Mc become first choice1

Could be recency bias having seen him perform so well as part of a 3, but he looks odd to me at right back now1 -

It will probably help when he’s got an actual right winger in front of him. A lot of pre-season it was Fullah who tucked in and then Ramsay had to get forward which isn’t his game. AND if we're not going to play academy players in the Championship, then why should they stay with us? Or sign their first contract at 16 full stop? If they join a PL side, then they can be well paid while being sent out on loan.1 -
That’s not really always the case though. In fact even wingers on the wrong side are often expected to remain high and wide and full backs are not told to get near them as they want the winger in a 1v1 situation not a 2v2 with less space. Even if TC is on the left you don’t always want someone overlapping him because that kills his option to take someone on the outside as well as insidekillerandflash said:

That’s what he’s best at0
