Cov concedes a free kick midway in our half, getting a talking to from the ref but no booking by the looks of things.

    HT.

So far so good. Miraculously we had the best chance of the half. Can't really moan at Kelman as he was there & he got a shot on target. Keeper spread himself well but maybe could say Kelman could have put it inside the near post instead.

Poor set plays - 2 corners & 2 free kicks which were not put into the danger areas  to be attacked.

Defending well but can't see us keeping them out all game. Only losing by 1 or 2 would be acceptable BUT only if we get something at Oxford. With them and WBA winning we could be in the sticky stuff again if we lose our next 2.

Oh go on, you know you want to really.

It's vital we don't score too early.
Half-time. Thank goodness we have avoided that pitfall.

    Macca - never change
It doesn't matter who he has next to him, he's still Gillesphey.
We’ll always have Wembley and Blackburn at home ❤️

All feels a bit England v San Marino with us having about 25% possession.

0-0 is great so far and I’ll jump around like House of Pain if it’s that at the final whistle.

Oxford winning, WBA winning, we’ll be just a few points off relegation again. Utter bastard league this!
Ends like this we'll still be 7 clear of relegation. All the wins and scores in other games is just the teams below us leapfrogging each other.
Well it’s that, but more importantly it’s them gaining points on us. It’s fine, and there’s no need to panic as we have a much tougher game tonight than any of those do, but let’s not pretend that the teams below us picking up points doesn’t matter.
It only matters if ALL of them gain points on us... which is not the case.  Leicester, Blackburn, West Brom and Portsmouth ALL have to overtake us before we go down.

Free kick into the box, Clarke puts it out for a corner, which is cleared by Leaburn

Ball into our box, Macca I think heads out to Doc and we clear.

We concede a free kick in a similar position to the last one, Macca this time.

Who do we think wants the ball at their feet less - Macca or Docherty?

Macca won’t have many more chances to get the ball the way he’s going

Leaburn heads that one more up than out but it's away from the danger enough to do the job.

Aerially we’ve been OK despite no Jones.

    That’s a positive I guess.

One point to note about Clarke putting the ball behind for a corner:

You know it's never going to hit the back of the net where he's concerned.

Leaburn is not 6ft 8 for christ sake. 6ft 5 at most.
Some people exaggerate their length. Personally im happy with my 9 inches

Boro passing it about a lot outside our area, once they try to get it into the box Clarke does well to shield the ball out for a goal kick.

Bell, Campbell and Dykes should come on around 60

Wouldn't surprise me if Oxford and WBA games both ended up as draws. Blackburn's manager is good with motivation and Blackburn do come back from being a goal down, and Southampton have a goal in them.

We’ve only really had to defend set pieces and corners which has helped.

It’s not like Boro have been pumping balls up to their big striker like Birmingham did.
