Absolutely fantastic, that we have sealed survival with a BIG WIN...and secure 18th in the table, pretty much as our pundits had predicted pre-season. What a match for the ages!!! COYR 2026/2027!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Play to win, not to fade.
  • Absolutely loved that. A proper performance to be proud of. Amazing what happens when we don't play hoofball.

I knew it was going to be a slog of a season, and the majority of it was frustrating - but we achieved the only goal there was.

    Can't wait for next season.

Big shout for Oxford..... This is why the penultimate matches should all be played at the same time. £££££££££ vs Sporting chance. EFL are vomit.

So good to end the season on a high. An excellent battling performance and two stunning goals. We also looked well organised, which we haven’t for ages.
Fevrier may have done enough for us to want to keep him. He was superb today, I thought.
A few of today’s squad we won’t see again, but a big thanks to them for helping keep us up against general expectations.

We are currently 19th and can finish as low as 21st. Sorry to piss on your chips.

Good chap, Ecclesaddick. Play the game....
  • I bet TC was spitting blood when Fev didn't release him for a clear third in the last minute...🤦‍♂️
I think he may have strayed off side earlier in the move, but I don't really know the off side law so forget I said that.
He did, briefly. That’s why Fev held back.

May I be the first person to ask for any spare tickets for the away match with Spurs. 🤓

    Thrilled at the result

But maybe more thrilled that today is likely the last time I have to hear 'Tottenham away ole ole' sung at the valley

Don't take the piss out of Oxford. Just sit back and think how marvellous the EFL are at organising a fairly run competition. Penultimate matches at different times, with Ipswich still a game in hand. EFL are the Whores of Babylon. Yet whatever, Up The 'Addicks. I so miss "real" football.....

I honestly have no idea however who will stay or go from this squad.

I’m confident Jones and co. Know who they want and have funds to target but as supporters you can make a case for any / all to potentially leave.

Will be interesting. Just hope most is done and settled early so we start the season positively.

Charlie Kelman take a bow - goal of the season and what a time to pull it out the bag

didnt help conceding right on HT, keeper has to be stronger there, too busy looking for the foul

Fev with a superb goal to finish it off, gutsy performance albeit we did shit it and sit back way too much in the 2nd half

all done though, definitely a few on that pitch today that I hope I don’t have to watch again next season though, but for now enjoy it and enjoy the summer 🍺🍺

There was a lot of gutsyness in the second half mixed in with two moments of magic.

We broke our two goal duck.

    We defended very well.

We have four months to talk about what we need to do for next season. For now, enjoy it, enjoy this group of players who gave it their all, enjoy the fact that we did it with at least 53 points and a game to spare, ENJOY CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL NEXT SEASON!!!!
This, above all else, is what matters.

Very physical game Hull really looked a one trick pony .. the ref failed to spot their tactics as well although their goal was mainly due to Clarke the foul on Kaminski with his shot being pulled was a shocker .. but every corner the number 25 was blocking him off … lot of good performances back 3 were strong think Burke coming on really helped us today .. mid Doc outstanding again but what’s happened to Carey ?? and Fev was outstanding what a goal we need to sign him on another day he would MOM but today Charlie Kelman not just the goal but his overall work rate the pressing of the backline superb it just asks more questions why he not played more cause he is a natural goalscorer ….. think we were safe anyway but nice to win a game before the end of the season

Like last season, we are much better when we don’t have an awkward target man to lump the ball up to . 2 brilliant goals . Delighted
Not to knock Dykes, particularly, and Miles, but has it really taken Nathan this long to realise how to use Kelman?
