Costa Rica, just fabulous. Not just the wildlife but the place just buzzes at night. Brilliant people. . Stay Pacific coast, do the night walks in the rainforest and loads of other hikes.

Anyone got any tips for Seville, going in October, taking in Real Betis’ game vs Osasuna as well.

Lots to see. Very nice place.

I wouldn’t bother going to the top of the bell tower at the cathedral. Lots of people and the limited view not worth the effort.

By contrast the Setas de Sevilla (I think also
known as the mushrooms) offer great views and we enjoyed going back in the evening when illuminated (ticket valid for a re-visit for that purpose).

Gran Canaria, Taurito, end of May, in the hotel dead opposite where we stayed in July 24, we watched from a distance  as it was being refurbed. Thats a water park in the middle, perfect for my teenage son.

I turn 60 this time next year, hoping to go on a northern lights/christmas market cruise in late november/early december, as I cant take leave in september/october due to work commitments.
Have often looked at these 3 hotels @DA9 but fear there is nothing else in that area
our kids will be 14&16 next summer

What is the evening entertainment like, and are the pools saltwater ?

    cheers
We stayed at the TUI princess suite on the left and loved it, at the time it was an adults only hotel. Entertainment was decent.
the water park is separate from both hotels but there are other restaurants, bars and shops dotted around the the perimeter of it. Morgan has a good market a couple of times of week.
    we liked the whole area
    Any Elvis impersonators?

You will love Seville, there is so much to see and do. It will still be hot in October, I got sunburned in February!

Went to Toroquero (Hope that's the right spelling) on the Caribbean coast , OK but much perfer the Pacific Coast,
The Manuel Antonio National Park was fantastic,
Spent over 2 weeks in CR Just a real experience.

Still early days for me with my travel plans but…

I tip toe into 2027 in the Canaries (going for Christmas and New Year).

Very early January I’m going to Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania - then thinking of heading over to Mauritius from Tanzania.

To escape the cold I’m thinking of touring Asia; Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand or just Japan?

    May: Wemberleee

The whole of June is in the South of France

    Summer in London.

The whole of October is in Spain.
I’ve now booked Feb,March into April Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, and Malaysia (Borneo).
