He was held back by NJ in the passing drills due to playing 'too many forward passes'. Been given additional training and instructions until he is ready to play 2mph sideways passes to his midfield partner or back to the CBs.31 -
This is far too sensible.DOUCHER said:Chalobah is this seasons Chucks - wrap him in cotton wool, don’t play him in anything other than home games and get him off after 60 minutes - that’s the formula

If this is since the Bristol game it would be disappointing.fenaddick said:Can be seen with the group in the latest “Inside Training” video on YouTube doing fitness drills but I couldn’t see him in the passing or attacking drills0 -

Back in full training according to Cawley. Also Godden.6

It is probably the pressure of being winless in eight games, as NJ usually does not provide evidence of key players returning 48 hours before a game.1
-
Eh, he does talk about players being back in training. Back in training is not the same as being in a matchday squad. I would say this isn't particularly out of the ordinary. I feel like it was a few weeks ago that he said Josh Edwards was in contention. It's more at the onset of an injury that Jones doesn't give specifics, toward the end of an injury he seems to be more laissez-faire.mendonca said:It is probably the pressure of being winless in eight games, as NJ usually does not provide evidence of key players returning 48 hours before a game.2 -

Can’t have been a Charlton training session.fenaddick said:Can be seen with the group in the latest “Inside Training” video on YouTube doing fitness drills but I couldn’t see him in the passing or attacking drills
How do our defence ever train against corners, when none of our attackers can take a corner?4 -

No. It suggests they don't practice them, instead hoping noone notices.CaptainRobbo said:

Chalobah match fit and ready to play according to Cawley5

I'd save him for Bolton and Sheffield United16

This is my thinking as well. I suspect he'll be on the bench for Boro as I can't imagine he's 90 minutes fit yet. And then maybe start against Bolton and on the bench against Sheffield United?fenaddick said:
Can he play two on the bounce? Might be safer to play against Boro and Sheffield UtdCrispy said:I'd save him for Bolton and Sheffield United
It's really hard to say, last thing we need is him breaking down again. I'm expected the dreaded Skipp/Cov double pivot against 'Boro. I'm hoping there's a third midfield in there, e.g. JRC or Carey, to provide some dynamism and ability on the ball. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
It'll just be good to get Chalobah back.2 -
I want us to go ultra communist and iron curtain against Boro. The Berlin Wall is up, our players are playing like a repressed nation, steadfast in just trying to eke out an existence. Chalobah is a ration we can reintroduce with food stamps, sparingly across Bolton and Sheff Utd, before he breaks down again over the intl breakSDAddick said:

Having him back is probably the last chance to avoid dropping into the bottom 3. That is a mark of our desperate position.1

Jokes should not risk him against Boro1

So are 'Boro the Nazis in this analogy? Because if so, it ends well for us. But unlike Stalin, I'd happily take a draw there.cabbles said:

I haven’t played at Goals for about 4 years but am returning tonight when I will be expected to complete 60 mins.
