I am 63. Mrs.Blackpool is 50. When we first got together a lot of our friends had doubts as to how long we would last. Next August we celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we have two grown-up children and three grandkids plus another on the way.
Age is just a number if it works it works.
Back of the net!
I think you should have been using the quote function there mate........
I initially tried to insert a gif and it all went tits up from there!
I wish I were living in England. Like I said in another thread the other day, people here in China are obsessed with (women's) age. 31 is already considered as a 'left behind' age for women in most places in China. And 99.99% of men only date women younger than them. For example I've heard many times some men born in the late 70's or early 80's claim they are only interested in women born in the 90's..... (I don't know them. I just hear this from other people)
Some of the good things you have said about age/women in this thread will never be heard from most Chinese men. You are on totally another level of civilisation and values.
In between my wives during my mid 30's I also did the Plenty of Fish thing. Had a lot of fun with some lovely eager women. With my pecker up I did once ask out a stunning 23 yrs old life guard whilst taking my daughter to a swimming lesson. Totally surprised she said yes and a few weeks of fun was had. I ended it however as it was very apparent that we couldn't have a conversation as there was nothing inside her head. The other generation gap thing was her inability to eat a meal out without having her mobile on the table (and answer every text or call). I thought rude she thought me weird. Very happy with second wife again 2 years older.
My Grandad (miss him) met a lovely woman 40 years his junior and was with her around 10 years, until his death, after my nan died. It wasn't creepy at all. The woman's two young kids idolised him and he even sorted out her violent ex-partner by having a 'visit' with a few old mates. Ex-Deptford boy and had that Clint Eastwood stare when riled.
If it works it works so feck anyone else's views. They say other peoples opinions are like arses. You don't want to see or hear them!
31 when I met my wife to be who was 19 . 17 years on and 4 boys later she’s still 12 years younger than me .
In our early days together she was offered a cuddly toy on an emirates flight when she had her hair in pigtails . She went water skiing with me on the boat one day and when I didn’t go the next day the skipper asked where her dad was !! I got offered some puff tentatively in Barbados by a fella who thought she was my daughter ...

So basically if you're a single chinese woman in your late 30s/early 40s..........then you're struggling.
My Father in Law is only 4 years older than me, my wife is 7 years younger than me, my mother in law is 76.
If that little lot doesn't mess with your head nothing will!
Can you explain please!
Ok. When she was 43 my Mother in law re married a much younger man (now my father in law) when he was 24. My mother in law already had two daughters when she remarried , the youngest of which is now my wife, who happens to be 7 years younger than me. FWIW My mother in law is now 76 but she dresses and behaves younger than she is, my father in law dresses and behaves much older than his years, they are a lovely couple, they have been together over 30 years and its worked out well for them. Like I say he is 4 years older than me, and when I'm on a wide up and we're out for a beer, I do like to call him dad!

Yes struggling to find a boyfriend/husband, not struggling in other areas. I've heard a few stories about single women of this age living a comfortable life albeit without a partner. I've been trying to stay positive, too. Being single gives me free time and space at least.... and fewer things to worry about, for now....
I've had two girlfriends who were two years older than me and one who was three years younger, other than that they've all been roughly the same age as me.
Shagged a 46 year old when I was 25 in Benidorm. The sex was wild, bedroom, balcony, kitchenette - lots of kinkiness thrown in. Was pretty chuffed with myself when I saw her the next day travelling along the promenade in a mobility scooter.
At 20 my then gf was 24 and the age gap seemed significant - the kudos earned from my mates was rather eroded by their juvenile behaviour. At 26 met a 19yo at work and we got on like a house on fire - few differences in the cultural references but everything else was great, bar her boss and a few others of my parents' generation clear disapproval. At 36 I enjoyed the company of a woman blessed of the finest figure with which I have yet been acquainted. I knew she was significantly older than me but of course never asked directly. She admitted to something like 56, but I was sure that was a "show biz age". The numbers were never any sort of issue, we had what we had in common. A couple of years in, she took early retirement from work and then decided I should be seeing people 'your own age'.
When I was a young man of twenty I had a brief fling with a forty two year old hairdresser who was the spitting image of Brigitte Nielsen minus the boob job. I still see her around though nowadays she looks more like Denis Nilsen (pre-death but only just).

Alternatively find a younger woman who is happy to make a joint suicide pact.

Turns out she was just a fat, lazy northern lass.
He was 29 at the time, even now he's as devious as they come
