  • Good news.feared it would all end in tears but nice to have a happy(ish) ending.Lets hope she is ok.
  • Good news, now if the McCann's told police were Maddie was, then both stories could come to an end
  • Apparently found a mile from her house....
  • saying she was found under her grandparents bed!!??

Sash, out of order IMHO. Not a joking matter.

    Bit controversial mate?
  • Amazing how she was so close.

I do think this kid would have been found a lot quicker if her family were given the media attention the McCann's have been given, that's my main point. Apologies if it was a little too close to the bone
  • OK, but there was a lot of media publicty in Yorkshire when I was up there and the parents/helpers had IMHO learnt something from the McCains in how to keep that publicity going.

I thought they got poor national treatment, couple of very interesting pieces in the last couple of weeks on this Worth a read[
  • Always thought there was something "not right" about this case. Glad she's turned up though.
  • Yes it was a stupid remark and I'm gald to see it has been removed.
  • I agree Rothko - council estate that's why. Mccanns the respectable doctors and all that.

Doesn't matter though all that matters is is she is alive and been found.
  • Henry the whole Macaan thing stinks from top to bottom. Two Doctors middle class people who would be telling us all how to behave and they f**ked off and left her. In the time that the little girl in Yorkshire`s family had raised £25,000 to help look for her the macaans raised over £2million. They hired a legal team to "discredit" the DNA evidence before even knowing what it was ?

I'm not defending the McCanns and I have thought from start that are nice middle class professionals they were give a very easy ride for leaving their children to go and have a drink with friends.

I don't know the ins and outs of the DNA issue but if they didn't do it then of course they raise money and fight their corner. But it could be argued that they would do the same if they were gulity.
  • i dont know what to beleive with this case anymore. you hear conflicting stories on a daily basis.
  • Great news

Great news about Shannon. As I parent of 2, these stories chill me so it's good that there is a happy ending.

Just to chuck in my tuppence worth on the McCanns, as far as I'm concerned they are stone wall guilty. Whether it is of crass stupidity, gross negligence or something more sinister remains to be seen.

  • Good news, doesn't matter whether its from a council estate or "respectable" middle class family- a child is back with her family.

Thanks for posting this otherwise i'd have missed it!
  • Apprantly she was on her way to our game with Blackpool due to Super Pards pleading with fans to get up there and support the team but she got lost.
  • Excellent news...just glad she is safe...so often these days it all ends up badly.
  • found in the base of a divan bed.

    some weirdos out there
  • [cite]Posted By: SE10Addick[/cite]saying she was found under her grandparents bed!!??
