Bo Sox for me. Been to Fenway but haven't seen a game there yet, seen games at Dodger stadium and in Toronto, and will be watching the Mets take on the Brewers at Shea this Sunday, always wanted to go there and as its their final season at Shea should be a good one

At least you didn't put me down as toronto Henry - actually I'm being forced into going to a Yankees /Mariners game when I'm in NYC in a couple of weeks so I'll be Seattle
on a skiing hol to new england back in 2001 i got stranded in boston for a coupla days and i used that time wisely, blindin city and took time to go up the john hancock (or something like that) building spied the redsox ground straight away quality, was a red sox fan from then on, havnt a clue who plays for them, how rounders actually works and how super red sox mo fo army are gettin on.
You did indeed climb the John Hancock in Boston MCS, although shame you didn't get stranded in Chicago, then you could have gone in the other John Hancock - which is 700ft taller - and spied both the Cubs and White Sox ballparks :-)

And Soldier Field...
There's a great, but expensive bar on the 90 somethingth floor, I got stuck up there one day during a thunder storm, amazing to look out and see the lightning around you.
It was - actually it was three storms or three parts of the same storm, one to the north over Wrigleyville/Lincoln Park, the second westish in the direction of O'Hare and the other over Lake Michigan. I was walking back from the aquarium when the storm broke and instead I got a cab to the Hancock Tower specifically to watch the storm from the top of the tower. A fantastic experience to be so close to lightning and yet safe, and see it forking down to earth around you.
falconwood, sorry to tell you this but what i saw of the Mets when i was there they have more chance of winning the world series than we do of getting promoted this season. sitting at Shea it did remind me of the Valley though, team down by 2 runs with about 3 inns left and the whole stadium booing the team, think we should do a sort of link up with the Mets like United have with the Yankees
Got back yesterday from my annual Red Sox baseball trip (saw four matches live plus five on TV in sports bars). Have to say the mighty Sox are looking in good form to win the thing again, given that we had a huge injury crisis compounded by a flu outbreak that resulted in us having to call up starting pitchers from the minor leagues and play two or three 'reserve' batter/fielders in most matches for the last week and a half, yet we've still been grinding out the results. GO SOX! The Evil Empire (Yankees *spit*) look totally gubbered, reckon it's either Boston or the LA Angels for the World Series (the National League is so far behind the American League in quality terms these days I can't see an NL team winning the Series for at least the next five years).
What, despite losing the last five, including getting swept by the hapless Rays, with big Papi swinging like a damn girl and Mike Lowell still on Injured Reserve? I'd be more worried about losing out on the division title to the Gloryholes than the Yankmees anyway - their time is finished. The Sox have no chance this year (Christ I sound like the doomsayers on here going on about CAFC!)
Anyhoo, the Pens beat the Rangers this afternoon to go 2-0 up in the series - Stanley Cup here we come
A couple of weeks ago we were bottom of the divison. We've come through a huge injury crisis to be one win off top. Sure we've just lost five on the bounce, but we won seven on the bounce before that. Dice-K has been throwing rocks all season but he's still 4 and 0. Papi will refind his mojo. There's a long way to go and you're tripping if you don't think the Sox are gonna be in the post-season mix-up.

So Atlanta Braves 2 and half games behind after playing 9 games. So not that great so far.

Cos I gave a team to everyone who posted on the thread (Rothko go the coolest team) and you look like an Oriole : -)
Locked on.
Fact!
So far in the American League its the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox out in front while the LA DOdgers and Oakland Athletics are tied.
In the national league the leader of the three division are Florida, Chicago Cubs and Arizona
Arizona are the best team so far with .739 percentage of games won while the Texas Rangers and Washington are the worst with only a .333 PCT.
The Astros beat the Cardinals 3-2 having been 2 - 0 down going in to the last innings.
The Damn Yankees are not having a good year

Should I be demanding the manager is sacked and booing?

The Reds have just improved to 11 -15 and would be in a relegation place if such a thing existed in baseball.
