My butler uses mine for polishing fruit whilst we picnic at the polo. Brings up my plums a treat.

As @MrOneLung said - it's programmes overrunning. Surely SKY would have sorted a system where you it automatically keeps recording if something overruns.

I always record the last round of the US golf on Sunday nights, it always over runs and my Sky+ box continues recording.

Have you actually got Sky+HD or some poor imitation. Never seen the 10 minute option. You wanna record something, you call it up and press the record button. Can't see where you're going wrong.

That option and others are there.

But as most things worth recording are on catch up or +1 its not the end of the world, just bloody annoying.

I do this (although not indoors), mainly because I had lens replacement surgery and even in daylight cars with headlights can dazzle, lens replacement surgery for the super squeamish amongst you (morning Dave Mehmet) involves cutting the eyeball and removing natures lens and replacing them with artificial one. (hows your breakfast Dave?)

It definitely happens as this happened to me last weekend with the boxing on Channel 5. Pressed record on the TV Guide, went out, programme overran & I missed the last 2 rounds of the fight!!
