Carter, surely an arrest is an arrest? Doesn't mean you were charged, or even that you got locked up, but that you were told that you were being arrested and read your rights. Init?
Can't say I've ever been arrested. Been stopped and searched because some canine pup smelt the weed of wisdom on my trousers at Finsbury Park Station. Walked away when they couldn't find anything... actually, I had nothing for them to find, but my jeans and addidas were made of hemp! They filled out paperwork on the spot. Surely, an innocent stop and search shouldn't be recorded with name and full details.
Yep, bizarrely watching Borehamwood versus Yeovil Town in the ISIS Premier, Got elbowed in the face by a copper and when I got back up I was the wrong side of the police cordon, basically fighting for my life and the copper who initially knocked me down nicked me. Three hours in the cells and the police saw fit to check their video footage. Ive now the proud owner of two apologetic letters from two different police constabularies.
Stopped counting the number of points I have accumulated for speeding, once been to court to be banned but was able to have the ban turned to a high fine despite being upto 12 points.
Lookie, did you know that sniffer dogs also give a reaction from chocolate or money (they reckon most bank notes in circulation have traces of colombian marching poweder on them)
Iv'e seen people turned away from prison visits for both of the above.
[cite]Posted By: markwebb22[/cite]yes, why are you interested may i ask?!!!
I'm Old Bill - and all those who have answered "yes" are now on my "known firm" list!
Seriously, just a bit of fun. There were a few (light-hearted) comments on another thread saying that people who've been arrested should be banned from coming on here, which got me thinking.
I'd guess that the vast majority of us would consider ourselves "law abiding" - so either we were all the victims of heavy handed policing or we're maybe not as law abiding as we like to think!
Never arrested, no points on my licence ever but I have had two parking tickets. I did get told off by a policeman for messing around in a derelict building when I was 11 though.

off it, does that count as an arrest??
not one of my finer moments.
I'd say so mate. OB wouldn't normally just take someone down the station without arresting them first.
A ride in the back of a meat wagon with hands restrained only to be chucked out by the Medway tunnel?
An overnighter in one of Kents finest lock ups?
Or actually being arrested and charged with something?
I'm not giving an answer either way but I'm just curious as to those who said yes and what they have done!
I bet D&D with no charge accounts for 75% of the yes answers

I was never charged with anything.
