Sky Sports understands Millwall and Charlton are chasing Southampton defender Dan Seaborne.
The Championship duo are keen to bolster their defensive options and are thought to have enquired about signing Seaborne on loan.
Seaborne was hospitalised with serious head injuries following an assault outside a city centre nightclub last September and only returned to light training with Saints in late January.
The 25-year-old is now back to full fitness and Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is ready to loan him out so that he can get some valuable first-team action under his belt.
Millwall and Charlton are now battling to secure his signature with the player's versatility in that he can play at left-back or centre-back making him an attractive proposition for both sides.

If baldock isn't willing to go to Bristol city as its too far away , will he want to go to wolves ?0
-
He would if they meet his wage demands and he is confident they will go up0
-
Dervite deal to be done today if passed medical yesterday.0
-
I heard that wolves had an offer from an another club for Jarvis.0
-
We told Jarvis he wasn't good enough - joining the elite list of Millwall cockups that includes Ian Wright, Phil Babb, Ledley King, Leon Cort and Chris Smalling.0
-
Possible. If he is from Milton Keynes then he could move back home and play for Wolves. If he is happy in London and does not want to move from there maybe not.sammy391 said:If baldock isn't willing to go to Bristol city as its too far away , will he want to go to wolves ?

Baldock definitely coming here. Being held up by Green's move to Swindon.
Baldock favours number 7 and until Green moves and the shirt is available he won't sign.0 -
Hmm...but he had No.10 at Mk Dons?Clem_Snide said:Baldock definitely coming here. Being held up by Green's move to Swindon.

shouldn't make a difference anyway seeing as squad numbers haven't be announced.
edit - scratch that, I see they have. How did I miss that?0 -
Sounds like the Alleged Alan Shearer not going to Man Utd story.
He wanted No.9 but Andy Cole already had it and didnt want to budge so instead went to Newcastle who made sure Les Ferdinand went from 9 to 10.0 -
Clem I respect your sources but why are we getting rid of Green? Is it because he is our most expendable asset of some proper value? Is it because he didn't impress enough last season and ended up ousted by Wagstaff and/or an auxillary winger like Haynes or N'Guessan?
Have to say I would be disappointed to see what I thought was a great signing last year head out and such a good crosser/set-piece specialist as well...0 -

I'm assuming no one took the comment seriously......

Any deal that is going to happen is waiting on West Ham getting a striker in, so that's the one to look out for0
