Cool my Great Grandad is said to have dodged the draft by nciking his papers whilst at his medical. I think it's an apocryphal tale, but he talked about the great War and that how of about 50 people he apprenticed with only three or four survived; one being him, my old man's still got the photo and it's a sobering thought especially as my Grandad in the same line went and never came back in WWII. Fuck King George and all his armies anyone who get's out of a war shows an excellent human quality. I'm dead looking forward to this.
I hope it's wall to wall clunge in a caravan club!
Fair enough but I doubt if you had 5 kids to support. He was a great man and did more in his life to help others than anyone I know. Setup the Stepney Labour club with Clem Atlee, and fought for worker's rights when there was very little. He strongly believed that the abuse of the masses by the few was immoral. He did what he felt was right, as we all need to do.
I'm probably like you nolly, I'd not want to be left behind by my mates.
