  • Kent 314-8 off their 50 overs.

Something to bowl at let's hope we can and do!
  • http://t.co/aV6wjWCHtk Let's all get behind Adam Riley by voting for him as the breakthrough player of the year. Adam is a great young man who I have seen grow up to be a very good player and smashing lad. He has sat with us in the Easy stand for many years and is a 110% Addick. Good luck Adam.
  • Christ it really is horrible supporting kent. Never easy with us. Ever!!

Surrey need 2 from 3 balls, 6/2/6 this over has killed us.
  • Bloody hell, run out last ball, tie.
  • Three great games from Kent, entertainers.
  • Phew !!! Watching on the BBC site was excruciating !! Can't believe Tredders ran out Batty to tie the match !

Looking forward to a first hand report from AA if he's still standing after that!

    Well done Kent !!!

Said hello to him pre-game with my 11 year old son, Seb and following the directive from the "Club" have duly voted.

As for the game itself, cracking innings from Billings was the highlight in a match we really should have won. Poor penultimate over from Doug's spell, a vital drop from Nash when Azhar was only on 8 and three balls in the wrong area off the first half of the final over contributed to us not getting maximum points.

Still a great day made all the better for sitting in the Surrey Members area cheering on Kent ;-)

  • that was disappointing, thought we had that in the bag.
  • Glamorgan win toss and elect to bat. Kent omit Nash and Riley for Blake and Harmison.

I suspect Nash has been "rested" due to his lack of form (18 in three RL innings plus the vital drop of Azhar yesterday) and Riley because we want to strengthen the batting and have Cowdrey as well as Tredders if we need 20 overs of spin. In addition, Calum Haggett wasn't even used yesterday and with Harmison we actually have seven bowling options.

  • Oh dear - Jacques Rudolph's bat gets stuck in the ground as he tries to slide it in for a quick single and Haggett runs him out.

    16-1 off 5 overs.
  • 28-1 off 8. Haggett, not used yesterday, comes on first change in the 9th over.
  • Claydon traps Lloyd LBW.

40-2 off 10. Excellent start for the boys.
  • Brilliant caught and bowled from Stevens. Bragg out and they are now 65-3 off 13.4 overs.
  • Fantastic leg side catch from Billings standing up to Haggett.

    69-4 off 14.5.
  • Brilliant catch by Sam Billings! Looking good.
  • 84-4 off 20 overs.
  • 137-4 off 30 overs.
  • We need to break this partnership.
  • Goodwin played on to Bollinger.

    146-5 off 32.2 overs.
