    All out 387

Last 4 wickets lost for 18 which was the fear I expressed above.

Fortunately the first 6 wickets performed well.

They seem to be getting away from us. I thought those two quick wickets might point to something good.

A draw at best for us now I think.

  • 228-6 and a lead of 170. The door is slightly ajar.

And please don't forget that short boundary. Stevens and Billings will pepper it when they get in!

Shut and locked now I think!

    329-7 a lead of 271
  • 372-8. 314 ahead.

Clearly no ambition to try for a result from Gloucs. They'll be wondering why there's just one man and his dog watching soon. And after that there won't be any CC.

Bit harsh to blame Gloucestershire when we're playing Glamorgan

    :-)

My mistake - and would also explain why they've only won two from 14 CC matches. And I suppose they don't want to finish bottom though second to bottom ain't much better!

I just can't see at this stage of the season with no relegation and neither side serious promotion candidates why Glamorgan could not have had a thrash and set Kent a target. Kent might have been bowled out having a go. As you say, won't exactly encourage people through the gate to watch.

Good luck to the Kent boys tomorrow at Egbaston, I think they will need it as Warwickshire have looked pretty good when on TV recently. Hopefully another big quick fire ton from Billings. Good to see Northeast getting runs too. Safe journey for anyone travelling there.

    Ditto, Brian.

Don & Ralph, 2 NWKers will be there.

    Good luck to our lads.

  • Hoping the boys go well today, show everyone what kent cricket is all about.

Trusting the youngsters is the future for our county. Will be watching nervously

Shit, I didn't realise this was today. Damn. Might have to try to sneak off earlier than expected.
  • 56-1 off 14.

    Notheast 29* & Harmison 4*.

Should be looking at 280 plus on this track.
  • 62-2. Northeast gone.
  • Balls. Could really have done with Sam anchoring the innings before Billings/Stevens can let loose later on

I agree but Harmy's an anchor too if you know what I mean!

True. In the form he's in we just need to make sure Billings gets 10/15 overs at the end to 'have a go'. (probably just given him the kiss of death, so apologies in advance).
