Just to say "Pitch inspection at 2.00pm" and then bugger off for several hours was a bit naive wasn't it....the post did cause quite a bit of concern for some and as such was rightly questioned and criticized....you simply shouldn't do that.
For want of a better term,there are different 'categories' of pitch inspection....I've no doubt that Paddy and his lads made an independent inspection sometime during the afternoon in order to see what they needed to do to improve the playing surface....but there was NEVER a chance that it was going to need a full blown pitch inspection at 2.00pm which, in fairness, is what the post suggested and understandably led to unnecessary concerns for some readers.
As i said some of us work and cant sit on here all day long posting and if people were that worried call the fucking club and not sit here waiting for a forum member to give them answers.

I was relaying what I had been told by someone at the club. Why should I appologise when at the time of writing I was correct but the decision was changed?

oh don't dramatise. Gav posted something that turned out to be incorrect, no big deal in that, won't be the last to do so, and some people questioned whether it was true, again no big deal. But because people questioned it (which they would do if they were having to plan journeys etc), that makes them tossers, idiots, childish, pathetic, in need of a life, lynch mob, and best of all 'worse than Palace'.
Serious question, Why do you participate on here Leftbehind ? I'm not digging you personally but its obvious that you clearly don't like the place or the majority of people that post on it. Virtually every post of yours for the last year has been derogatory towards either the site or the people that post on it. You're like the bloke who goes into the same pub every day to tell all the other punters what a shit pub it is yet still keeps going in there. Yet your happy to use the site to take information to start similar threads on other sites, or to moan about this place from afar.
Its been going on too long fella. Either just accept that everyone is different and we try and find our best to find a best fit, or just accept that its not your cup of tea and don't participate any more.
