Any noises from the Club yet?

Thoroughly enjoyed Ireland last year - how about a Scandanvian jaunt this time?

    not forgetting the West Country.

but realistically once the takeover is out in the open we can expect to be told we must play in Qatar.....oh, maybe I shouldn't have said that just yet....

Dependant upon where they end up on their own little tour, I'd quite like Sunderland as the last warm-up match (at the Valley).
There's a bit of history between the clubs & it would be great to welcome back (and give a proper send-off to) Darren Bent.

I have heard from sources inside the club that once the Takeover is complete we shall be competing in the
Premier League Asia Trophy. The new owners are currently discussing the idea with Richard Scudamore that the winners of the competition will replace Portsmouth in the Premier League.

Ireland please. I'd like to re-acquaint myself with Darren Randolph's dad again. He had hands like shovels...

Pre-season in Perth, WA, against Perth Glory FC would do me right. ;-)

Some of our players could act out what happened at the training ground all those years ago with this fella!

Appreciate it's one of the only football clubs on the planet with a pornstar name but still.

    ;-)

I'm sure Albany Rangers could sort out a game at Beaverwood.

Wouldnt it be funny if we got Athletico Bilbao at the Valley again. It was Bilbao wasn't it start of the worst season ever (im sure a few on here will correct me on that) last year.

Would be good for me, can get to Eastbourne and Hastings grounds in about 20 minutes drive. Lewes 40 minutes on the train, right round the corner from the station.

  • Let's do this season first. We might be able to play teams like Millwall as inferior opposition as suitable warm-up games. No, OK, I doubt it.

Would love Rangers at home. It will make the club load of money with a full house. Also 2 or 3 games in spain would be good.

I saw that last week, how have they managed that? Unless it's a Chelsea 'XI' and they'll send the kids.

It's only a week after the world cup final so I guess most of their players involved in the world cup will still be on their hols

Correct, I was brought up there till I was 4 and then moved to Hove. Relieved I didn't have my teenage years there, absolutely nothing to do there.

I expect, like Palace (if we're still about), you'll have a local pre season. Not the most challenging but our trip to Cornwall last season was very enjoyable.
