    vaguely recall beating coventry 3-1 @ the valley when they were top flight, probably late 70' or early 80's. Also remember we played an african team around the same era

    Think the Coventry game was about 1971, definately on a friday night because it was my first
    ever addicks game! Thought it was 3-2 with Aan Campbell scoring a pen.
    The African team was Accra Hearts or something like that and we won 3-0, funny how your first
    games stay in your head:-]
