Best one this year :The Revenant (will never go walking in the woods again). Worst one ever: Airplane - truly cringeworthy. The only movie ive walked out on.
Left Behind. A disaster film starring Nic Cage exploring what would happen if the reaping occurring. I made it to about the hour mark and then I lost the will to live. I only watched it so I could comment on this thread!

I caught the last hour of this, wish I could take that hour back.
It's amazing what shit people will star in to settle a tax bill.

It's hilarious. The religious message at the heart of it is insane.
I think the worst film I've ever seen was Squirm, which is about killer worms. I think it cost about three quid to make. Most spin off films from sitcoms are pretty awful.
Best Laid Plans with Stephen Graham. Knew it would be awful from the netflix rating but didn't realise quite how shite. Had to turn it off after half an hour or so
Got dragged to it with wife and family last Christmas, for any family guy fans, I pulled the same face as Peter griffin did when he was forced to watch the ring.
My daughters are watching Pixels and they got me to watch a bit. How does Adam Sandler get money to make films? This is just toe curlingly bad. Awfull, unfunny, embarassing. Wreck it Ralph was a great film based on eighties videos. This one is dire.
So boring that the highlight was one of a group of teenagers nearly falling down the cinema steps, saving himself, the whole cinema cheering and him taking a bow.
Though what I've caught of any Twilight film looks appaling.
Hated the 1989 Batman film - the one with Michael Keaton & Jack Nicholson and haven't seen any of the Batman films since. Also the remake of Pelham 123. The original with Walter Matthau is good, the remake isn't.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are both fantastic films.

I saw this a while back and I wondered how Sandler keeps making movies. It is truly awful and some of the jokes were about as funny as having piles.
The first and last film I gave up on after half an hour was Kick Ass 2.
Interesting that Nick Cage is getting a few mentions. Here's a prediction. Worst film you haven't seen. Yet. USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage. Cage's latest vehicle. It's been in the can for some while but the release date keeps getting put back. (Always a bad sign). Its now due for release on Veterans' Day. (Probably another bad sign.)
(On a visit last November to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, I asked a Park volunteer what the forlorn wreckage of a plane was hiding behind one of the buildings. He explained it was a WWII PBY Catalina seaplane. It was being used in the aforementioned movie when it started to take on water. So they tried hoisting it out but it broke in half. I've kind of wondered about the movie ever since.)
King of New York fro. 1990 has a stellar cast including Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne, David Caruso, Wesley Snipes, Victor Argo, Giancarlo Esposito, and Steve Buscemi.
However, the lamest, weakest, most wooden script makes it staggering how any of the above actors could sign up to this steaming pile of Miered.
Tim Roth on playing Sepp Blatter in United Passions: 'The film is awful. I hated doing it' 'I had two kids in college so I had to make a decision and it was probably poorly judged'
When I first met my wife, I lived in Sidcup and she lived and worked in Nort London so more often than not, I would drive to hers. We must have been unlucky with our timing but saw a procession of shit films in our first few cinema nights. Two which stand out as being particularly awful was a sci fi called Existance and a Michael Winner film (his last I believe) called Parting Shots.
The first film we saw that we both liked was Notting Hill which must have made an impression on us, as we chose one of the songs (She, Elvis Costello) as the first dance at our wedding.

He must have been on a mint for Lie to Me, surprised he needed the cash.

Having said that, it was hilarious.
Has anyone seen Birdemic?

300, that was awful.
