  • Thanks Elf , paid a little more than you quoted , should have waited!
Any other info for the aways ask, been doing it for years. Rule of thumb, approx 10 weeks before game go on whoever's site for advance purchase

Is the train station right next to the ground?
Look on the O/S under tickets - then rail travel - the train times are there under the Exeter A info.
Great Western trains is the recognised route from Paddington. From Waterloo on the NSE card will get you there in 3 1/2hrs for about £30 return

    yer its direct from paddington

Walkable from Exeter St David's. Go from Paddington at current fares rather than the stopper from Waterloo. Be prepared to get wet.

First Great Western 2 singles with a 16-25 railcard:

11.06 from paddington arrives exeter st davids at 13.31 -£7.90
18.02 from exeter st davids arrives paddington at 20.41 -£15.85.

Anyone know how often the trains for St Davids to St James Park are? And how much the fare will be?

From Exeter St. Davids is half hour maximum through the city. A very pleasant walk and day out. They have a supporters club at ground that lets in away fans and is great

Hi all, does anyone have any idea about the Valley Away service - I haven't used it before & would appreciate any pointers. For a trip like Exeter, what time would it likely get back into London? I'd assume I'll look to get it from Charlton, not sure if there are any other handy spots for someone in Camberwell... Apologies if this info is handily available elsewhere, I did have a look before posting.

It's all here on the Official Site. Look under the tab for tickets, then Valley Away or Valley Express. Train travel is also there.

NB, I hold my hands up & say that I can't actually find any specific match info other than it's £25 to Exeter by coach.
I'd guess Charlton is your best pick up & a guess would be leaving at 8.30 & getting back to Charlton about 22.30.
You'll have to ring the ticket office.

  • Cheers covered end, there's actually the specifics for Exeter there today - if it leaves around half eight you're likely right about the return time..

A couple of pubs that may be of interest to people if you are travelling by car as I reckon that public transport could be a problem, certainly for the double locks.

Could someone provide an update on sales figures please? Or at least reassurance that they will make general sale. Thanks.
