That sounds about right. We drew 4 and lost 3 of the last 7. I think the first of that sequence was Port Vale on the 4th/5th and that put us in a position where a win at Forest would have got us promoted on the 8th. But we didn't actually get the 3rd point until Blackburn (by which time it wasn't needed any more)

totally agree Beds !! today we could & should have scored 4 or 5 - and that could have been repeated half a dozen times this season. Shame really, as the goal difference stat could easily have been beaten.
OK, I have a pair to be checked out............What about the longest number of games without a goal less draw and the least number of games where we have failed to score in a season which currently stands at 4.
I think our longest run without a 0-0 draw is about 82 games, it started with a 0-0 against Oldham, when they parked the coach in front of their goal at The Valley at the beginning of the season. Then towards the end of the following season we drew 0-0 against, you guessed it, Oldham .
possibly wrong thread but can som-one confirm what is the record points for this division. I have heard some-one say its Fulham 101 which we can beat and also heard Reading mentioned with 105, which we can'r. Can someone clear up the confusion please

Reading hold the record number of points in the Football League as they won the Championship in 2006 with 106 points. I believe Fulham hold the record for the third tier with 101 points.

I believe 9 is the target to beat?
The record that I'd really like to see set is 100 points.
That wraps up the title, as well as ensuring new records in many of the remaining categories.
