Dundee connection

  • I was at that game. Perugia v Dundee.
Great trip, after many years out of Europe.
Over 2000 fans had a 'minor disturbance' before the game. :)
Baldybonce has turned me into an armchair Addicks fan. :)
Hello..... i take it this is the Dundee branch of the Baldy Ultras?
  • Stayed up in dundee a few times in the 90s with the older lot, football was crap but what a great weekend. 1st met your lot in the Ship pub, that was mid 80s.
  • Seen Dundee at Hearts, Motherwell, St Mirren, Airdrie and across the road at Tannadice.
    The following was always decent.
  • Dundee have always been one of my Scottish teams, that I keep an eye out for.

I think partly because they always appeared to be the underdogs to the 'United' version, though I think the tables have turned for the moment?
  • Dundee connection sounds like an 80s Scottish themed WWF tag team.
  • Hadn't seen this thread before. Love it.
Will be watching out for Dundee as my Scottish team now
  • I remember QPR away old first division late 80’s - I got in the ground on the terracing, and was utterly bemused that I was surrounded by loads of Scottish blokes, who were very pissed indeed - game started and they started fighting with the Police - my introduction to the Charlton supporting Dundee crew 😂😂😂
  • Been up a couple of times to meet them, all still the originals from the QPR match, they still follow Charlton and were at Blackpool a couple of weeks ago, and usually get down once a season, all top blokes.

  • I met them all in the St Martins Tavern for that QPR game.
  • Remember being at old Trafford in 87 as a 16 year old with my half charlton / Dundee utd hat on , oh that was fun ….

Maybe I'm misremembering but I always thought there was a connection with United rather than Dundee? I remember the half half red orange hats from Selhurst, but not the red blue.

Edit - I think I was at that QPR away game when Seaman was in goal. Plastic pitch still? Sure it was United fans though!

Where did you order it from?
  • They are made from clay, then painted and varnished. It's about 5/6" tall. Ordered from a bloke on Twitter @elbimbo4321

You can ask what you want. I'll ask why not? I like them, so does it really matter?

Apologies, didn't mean that to sound arsey.

Just wondered if it was part of a collection or something. Never seen them before. Are they for the garden, like gnomes?

Do they? What do they say to you?

Is it because they look down on you?

Sadly, although at least I do not have a broken nose unlike Clem's one.
I think he should send it back and ask for a refund :)
