Let's hope we get the 350k sooner rather than later. Providing this goes through.

Do we get any £ on a £6m deal?

15% of anything over the £3.5m we've been paid I believe

    So roughly £375k

    4m total would be alright.

We've been paid £3.5M already? Not too bad a deal then. Wish JJ all the best at Swans.

Does that we mean all the England appearance payments etc we were getting before have stopped or do we still get them?

Perfect move for him and he'll work well with Michu there. Mistake form Liverpool though.

Great move for him, exactly the kind of move he needs.

I'm assuming so but don't know. The deal was for up to £3.5m plus a 15% sell on.

What the actual figure will be I doubt we'll ever know but £375 is a decent estimate.

Disappointed, had hoped for more. You raise more through your auctions on here.

If CP gets £250K he can do a bit with that re loans and wages for the hopefully out of contract new signings.

I'd rather that money goes to SCP himself and a nice new contract.

Be very interested to see him play week in week out.

TJ might need it towards his court costs

Think Liverpool could regret that in a season or two.. I'm sure they could've found a championship club where he could've kept his fitness up ;)

This transfer could be the difference between us keeping and not selling Solly

Hope things work out for you at Swansea, Jonjo. I have watched you playing for Charlton since you were fifteen and you have been a credit to yourself and your family. It is a pity that it didn't work out at Liverpool but it will only help your football education being a regular at a good Club with a top coach.
  • We have done remarkably well with the various sell on and promotion clauses etc that we negotiated over the last few years. Some of the day one prices may have dissappointed but just goes to show Murrey worked the best deals he could at the time

"a £5million deal.......The fee for Shelvey also includes potential add-ons on top of the transfer fee."

So doubt we will be earning as much as 375k, but it's money we didn't budget for so that's always good.

I actually think in terms of quality of players (bar Gerrad and Suarez) Swansea are better than Liverpool.

Good players, good manager and I think they will have a good season next year. If they can hold onto that Chico fella and Jonjo can start scoring a few more goals like Lampard and Gerrad have done over the years he could find himself being noticed and force his way into the England set up. Fingers crossed

it could be the case that in the period since Jonjo left at a time we were strapped for cash we may have renegotiated terms with Liverpool and have already been paid this amount or more likely less. been done before. we will probably never know.

All the best Jonjo, quite footballing side for him to join.

The money we get will probably be used instead to pay bills that the owners would pay otherwise, shame.

    All the best Jonjo.

According to SSN the fee was £5M. So if Henry Irving is correct we get 15% of £1.5M = £225K.

But there is no difference between us keeping and not selling Solly!
