Went for Boston Bob instead :( The only one in the bookies that did, someone had the winner, dammit

And no, I'm not wasting my dole money as I sold some games yesterday to make some stake money

Aghhhhh. Pipped on the line. He's a bit of a monkey Tofino Bay. Went again when the winner got to him and crossed the line with his ears pricked. Rival D'Estruval falling didn't do TB any favours.
Jumping OK but a few guessy ones perhaps indicates why novices shouldn't take on the GN.

Mugged by the Mullins' .. I am sure that a tougher Jock would have driven him home. He'll defo get the GN trip, as will Back in Focus !!
"He didn't get tired, just lonely" said Nina. Idler or not he's a very likeable sort - covered my modest losses from yesterday so very likeable indeed ;o)
It was 33 secs slower than standard so, other than novice status, main concern at Aintree would be the pace at which they would go if the going were decent- that would really test his jumping. I'll do an update on the GN stats shortly.

What was the point of the other horses in that race

Thank you to Coral though, easiest £20 I will ever earn.

Thats £12 I won on my e/w yankee. Not much but it was small stake and at least its money to pump into another race or two.

I think that is what is termed a cakewalk....mind you it's not a proper race if its under 3 miles ;o)

Sportingbet do a free bet (up to £50) - no risk! Mate bet £50 that one horse would beat another. As it happened, it came in, but if it hadn't, Sportingbet would have refunded his £50! Unbelievable offer.

Any tips for the 4.00? Thinking e/w on Ruby Walsh. 5 will place.
