    He's not been sacked, just relieved of his previous duties.

    That's correct, they are paying his monthly wage, obviously hoping he leaves for another job so they don't have to pay him out.

    Adkins is very smart though, he will not take any old job, he will wait for the right gig at a big club on its uppers, I think Leeds would be right up his street.
