Coyle and Flanagan have left by mutual consent. Terrible start to the season after an average season last year
Well past time. That was an awfull appointment. Like a lot of what we've put up with at the Valley, they seemed to appoint these two simply because they were all mates, and didn't bother with any sort of search for the best available on the budget. It'll be interesting to see if they look for a decent manager this time, or if they need a clause including a 'past connection with Dartford FC' before reaching the interview stage. I'd hope that lessons have been learnt, but last season finished in a terrible way, so they reappointed them and the dross continued. All this and the squad looked half decent (though a very decent left back was released last week when the managers would have been the obvious target). Still time to try and get into the play offs.
Its certainly getting harder to say that the National League isnt just League Three now!!
Still dont get why there are only two relegation places from the Football League, its not like the National League teams cant compete at that level now
Amazed he dropped down so far, and given how it's going i doubt he'll be getting any other jobs soon but Lee Clark is not doing well at Blyth. 1 point from 8 games!

Welling Town are at home to Erith & Belvedere in the FA Vase on Non League Day this year. Its a local derby. Both teams went goal crazy in the last round. Welling Town winning 7-1 away at Arundel, Erith and Belvedere winning 9-2 at home to Oakwood. Both teams were promoted last season with Welling Town pipping Erith & Belvedere to the SCEFL 1 title. Both games last season had loads of goals with Welling Town doing the double over Erith & Belvedere.
Its a shared gate so anyone who comes along on Non League Day will be helping BOTH clubs unlike if you went to another local league game.
Hopefully see a few of you at Bayliss Avenue on the day as its Non League Day. Theres a Bar and hot food available and its a great view from the raised grandstand.
A great chance to support two of your local teams where theres a history of goals in games involving the two teams. Entrance is likely to be about £7 so look out for details on http://www.wellingtown.co.uk or the Boots Twitter http://www.twitter.com/WellingTownFC
How do you simply step down as an Owner? - Surely you need a buyer?
Else is it something Roland has ever thought about doing...
Got a feeling this is about to end in tears as always suspected for Billericay or he's going to be announced as the new Owner (again!) as wont be the first time he's done this

I assume by stepping down it means he's immediately withdrawn all his funding to the club.
I guess it's different in non league as the clubs aren't really worth much, no one is going to come along and pay to take over a National South club with a high wage bill.
Roland probably couldn't just sign the club away and step down, because then he'd lose out on at least 30m+ (or whatever we're worth).
What we need to remember however, is that Billericay are a professional side with full time staff under contract. Tamplin just walking away, could leave them in a right mess. Last season their weekly wage bill was rumoured to be around £25k. I know for a fact that Coombes (now at Welling) was on £3k a week.
This has happened to many non league clubs before. Margate are a good example.

The Boots are away at Corinthian tonight in SCEFL Premier, near brands hatch if anyone is looking to go to a game.
Interesting that the team called Erith & Belvedere play in Welling and the team called Welling Town play near Belvedere. Wonder if anything like that's happened before?

Ironic that both goals have been scored at the start and at the end of the game
Looks to be another who has dropped the double barrelled name
Apart from a genuine risk of relegation (3rd bottom), twenty points behind the leaders Wealdstone already.
