In a way I am glad - he seems to have been suffering from age and illness for a long time now, perhaps it is a kindness he no longer has to. That said, what he has achieved and the legacy he will leave is nearly unparalleled.
Summed up in the words of president Jacob Zuma........... "What made Nelson Mandela great was precisely what made him human. We saw in him what we seek in ourselves,"
