Ron for me, he is doing it from the right wing.

Messi plays up top so I would expect Messi to have scored more than he has.

Problem is, that's no longer true. Ronaldo has started most games up front with Benzema this season, while Isco has played on the left (Ronaldo has never played right wing for Madrid, only left).

Barca's formation has changed slightly this season too, since Suarez's arrival. Him and Neymar play as twin strikers with Messi operating behind them.

He accidentally revealed this in an interview recently.

Ronaldo won the Ballon d'or again. Messi 2nd, Neuer 3rd.
By all accounts Hodgson voted for Javier Mascherano, Philip Lahm and Manuel Neuer. Hmmmmm
But can someone explain how sideshow Bob got into the world 11? Was the 7-1 what swung it for him?

Outstanding close control, best player I think I've seen in my lifetime, came to life just at the right moments to determine the outcome of the match, wish he was English!

The bloke chipped the world's best goalkeeper, who happens to be 6 foot 4, from the edge of the 6 yard box, on his wrong foot.

    That is actually a thing!

Done it me self the weekend. It's not as hard as Leo and I make it look

Messi is without doubt the best player to watch in world football.

But, if I was looking to win a league title I'd want Ronaldo in my side all day long.

Wouldn't mind Messi and Ronaldo up front, wages may be an issue though.

I'm off on my Stag Do this weekend, going to Barcelona v R.Sociedad at the Nou Camp. Can't wait to see Messi in the flesh, absolute genius.

    Just praying he isn't rested!

How lucky are we to be in an era where we get to watch this little genius live.

    Man's amzing

I think he's the best but Ronaldo runs him very close. Both astonishing footballers.

They'll be playing their strongest team in the league, if anything they may rest players for the second leg although with the suspension of the Spanish League from the 16th they may not need to.

Enjoy, I went to the CL quarter finals the other year where they beat AC Milan 4-0 after being 2-0 down from the first leg, incredible experience.

    Equally as good.

    Ron-essi

A hybrid combination of both Ronaldo and messi. What a footballer that would be

I went a few months ago when they beat rayo vallecano 6-1.

He weren't in the game for majority of it and then decides to score a 2nd half hat trick.

Was quality to watch and would love to go back again at some point.

    Enjoy mate.

Went to Barca v Sevilla in 2009 and they did rest him!

Was between the two Chelsea games of the Champions League semis and El Clasico so I could see why but was still a shame.

Really enjoyed watching Xavi and Iniesta live though, their movement and passing abilities in tight spaces was ridiculously good.

    Barca still won 4-0.
