Sorry guys I think I misinterpreted this on the other thread,it is not about one club but generally .It still does not make sense though unless SCP wants to loan two more non Standard players over 23 and has deals lined up.
Rule 53.2.5 A Loaning Club can have a maximum of 4 Players under 23 and a further 4 Players over 23 registered on a Standard Loan during any Season. The deadline for determining a Player's age in this respect shall be 30 June prior to the Season in which the Standard Loan is intended to take place."
Over 23 we have had
Astrit Thuram
Under 23 we have had
Koc Sordell Stewart
Rule 52.2.1 A maximum of 5 loan Players (Standard, International, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the Players listed on a team...
from my admittedly limited viewings Scannell has never really impressed me. He's like a very poor Aaron Lennon. Fast but very little end product and not much by way of tricks. I put my faith in Powell though so If true then I will wait to judge.
Powell contract talks sounds promising - really hope we can get this nailed down as it should reassure a number of the players. If Angeldust says it's so then I'd be very confident it's so.
At first I read that Angeldust post about offers for players being cash offers for our players, two being close. Got me all worried thinking Yann and Wiggins were off.
Then I read it back and it appears that they are cash offers from us to other clubs. We may actually be about to offer REAL money for a player. I am so excited
9:42 According to the Belgian media, another Standard Liege player could be on his way to Charlton Athletic. Having already brought in Anil Koc on loan, it is reported that the Addicks are close to signing Reza Ghoochannejhad, a striker born in Holland but playing for the Iran national team.
52.2.2 No Club may sign more than 4 loan Players (Standard, International, Emergency or Youth) from another Club (or club) in any Season. An additional Youth Loan Player may be added to this figure.
OR as a non-EU citizen he doesn't qualify for a work permit? He's been playing in Europe for a while but FA rules are different to those in Belgian or elsewhere.
Born in Iran, but lived in Holland since he was a kid, so probably has an EU passport
Dubious rumour about Yann leaving and this place goes into meltdown, he won't leave anytime soon.
Its not a rumour though mate. Bournemouth have bid for yann and one of there old boys who isn't actually old. Just got to hope they accept our offer.
I've read that at least 25 times and I can't work out what it means. Please explain!
took me a few reads too. Means Bournemouth have bid for Yann and Wiggins, one of their old boys who isn't actually old. We have to hope that both our players accept OUR offer, assuming their is one to accept.

Should be a busy few days coming up

Over the Wordsworth affair last window ?
But to be fair normally his information has been very reliable, don't think there will be any movement before tonight's game.
(or was that in Holland?)
From weds we should be hearing real positives and that's pleasing
(or was that in Holland?)
For "dam" read "Dyke" (not of the sexual variety).

@stallion1974 Focus at the moment is on end of window. Sounds promising that they want CP to stay.

Also for a player age 32.
However, he is so valuable to us I hope it is rejected
Let's hope he turns up tonight (literally and with a performance!)
