Wiggins going to Bournemouth makes no sense at all. Daniels is a good left back and they have cover with Hart and Smith.

Probably want two left backs and two right backs?

Also hearing that Bournemouth have bid for Rhoys Wiggins. Could become an exodus from #cafc

If this is the case and I hope it isn't we should try and get Charlie Daniels their current left back in part exchange although knowing our luck they will offer the 36 year old Iain Harte.

Wiggins going to them would give them three left backs and a right back that can also play there, and two right backs.

What about Yann & Wiggo in exchange for Simon Francis?

Probably couldn't believe their luck in us agreeing to sell Kermogant, so thought they'd try their luck with Wiggins as well.
  • they bid for both at the same time earlier this week and I was told they wouldn't get both

Wiggins won't go. New contract soon i reckon.
  • Maybe Kevin Lisbie's coming back to team up with Jason Euell as our new strike force on Saturday.

Yeah just realised that. Though Harte is 36 and I doubt he'll be there next season. Looking up the stats he's barely played for them.
  • Is crawley just repeating on here

half hr before that tweet I said I would rather lose yann than Wiggins and everyone has said its because of the previous contract issues

Just made further call on Wiggins and told that they are not aware of bid yet. So that might be premature.

True but AFCB fans don't even like Rhoys, I'd be surprised if he goes but we'll see.

They will love him if he goes back there.
  • Hopefully I will come home from work

We would have signed three new players, everybody will be happy and I can sit and enjoy my Chinese meal tonight when I get home, delighted with the signing we done today
  • Oh wait this is Charlton athletic not Manchester City !

Im distruaght with this, 3 big players being linked with moves and no replacements in sight and RD could have sorted this 20 days ago.

Honestly think that Wiggins would be playing in the Premier League by now if it wasn't for a couple of injury problems in the last year or so.
  • Apparently the owner is on twitter if your keen to express your opinions... Keep them respectable...

Have tweeted him, encourage all fans to do the same, will probably do nothing but at least he knows how unhappy we are and also he probably doesn't see things from a football point of view i.e. effect on morale, maybe not getting anyone better, them finding it difficult to bed in etc.

Thing is if we don't do anything to replace or improve on these players, then can you imagine what the end of the season will be like? It will be like it was under Parky totally humiliating, glad I can't get time off my Saturdays now.

contract! that's a swear words in RD's books....

  • He will not sell Wiggins, he could be playing for standard in a few years, same as solly

Richard Murray has been back in the board room for five minutes and we're selling our best player at the end of the January transfer window.... again. Coincidence?

This may or may not be an attempt at sarcastic humour.
  • Even if we do bid for a player, which i doubt that we will, the players price will go up as the selling club will have the knowledge we have sold two strikers in this window. A clever chairman such as Levy buys the replacements before selling the crown jewel i.e Bale.

I can't really see why RD is getting stick for the whole lack of contract debacle?!?
