    If it's true that CP did not know about the decision to sell Yann, then it appears that the writing is on the wall both for him and our club's future in the Championship.

    The end of the window is Friday midnight.

    If RD has not brought in any quality, and I am talking of more than Reza and let more of our quality players go, then we will all know the story. Trying to hold fire and wait and see what happens until then. Lets go on evidence and ignore the restricted PR bullshit that we have heard so far. We may end up with a decent strikeforce and our midfield relatively intact just yet.

    Agreed. We will know our answer on Friday when the bell tolls. Not gonna be a pleasant wait though especially if Powell isn't calling the shots on player movement.

    As an aside isn't this what curbs took west ham to court over when they sold a player over his head or was it buying??

    Looked what happened to Curbs management career after that. Won the Constructive dismissal claim but never managed again. That would not help Chris Powell's career at all. I have a feeling RD wants a coach with no opinion of players allowed regarding players they may want outside the RD stable of clubs. Chris Powell is a great man and will always be a Charlton legend.

    IF Steve Dixon's post is correct then that is the worst news we could have, not that Yann is on the train but that CP was not involved in the decision.

    Let's be honest I like Yann as much as the next man, but he,s not a prolific scorer. If his departure it to fund a better replacement I'm up for that ! If his departure is to put money in the bank, then that's a massive mistake.

    Fucking joy. Hope it is completed on Saturday after the window is shut.

    No doubt tho will be classic Charlton. No replacement and done at 10:59 on deadline day. Let's hope we spend that significantly less than 400k wisely.

    Yep. Powell didn't even know we were selling Yann.
    I heard that Powell is very unlikely to be here by the end of the season. Not wanting to add fuel to the fire but all of this is very, very depressing
