a do for Vales 50th on the 15th if you can get up this way.
Can't mate, away for the weekend on the 15th, say hello to Vale for me, my 50th in a few months, I will be getting some grey hair soon. I am in procurement not FM, I try and keep FM screwed down to tight contracts, but that is never easy.
I have just watched the excellent press conference with Chris Powell on player. Made me feel a whole lot more hopeful regarding the future than I had been. Chris is composed, realistic, did not duck any questions, and whatever anybody may say about his approach to the football, he is a very very impressive man. My take is that Chris and Roland have been able to understand each other, and Chris intends to make things a success. We have said that Chris has not had the resources from the previous regime, but he is getting them now. It may be that the players are not ones he knows as well as some others that we have scouted, but there is always a risk signing any player known or unknown. The big benefit for Chris is that people can't accuse him of blowing big transfer fees that have not come off. The financial aspect of the transfer malarkey at Charlton is down the agenda, it is as if Roland is saying, 'you're a coach, here are football players, over to you'.
That may be true, but we are very light now in midfield. We need at least two creative midfield players to service all these forwards we are accumulating.
Top of the head we have Jacko, Cousins, Astrid, Green, Pritch, Harriott...errrm, there are some more who can play there, I tend to agree we could do with a latter day Kinsella and Jensen.
CP seems to think at least 2/3 of those you mention are not up to it so I tend to agree that 2 creative midfielders are a must.
We know that Piotr is flying over tonight so not him. Surely Koc, Thuram and AA can't be considered "new" faces anymore as they've been there for a couple of weeks now.
Reza is one. I presume Nego is another. JT's brother might have been another one.

Welcome to all the new guys , to those that are underwhelmed remember how you felt when we signed Yan. He went on to be a hero and who knows we may have another one amongst the new recruits. Good luck to Dale , a good move for him.
Sorry @JT not John Terry (or Jerome Thomas). He mentioned that his brother Johan ter Horst of Folkstone was at the training ground today.
Didn't put the two together that this was JT's brother. I really ought to pay more attention at East Kent Addicks meetings, rather than having a jolly up with past, current and future owners. Oh, and remember to join and attend.
Richard Cawley @RichCawleySLP 2m Think Yann would like to stay. But that takes #cafc pulling out stops to keep him. As things stand, sounds unlikely.
I love yann to death he is my favourite player and has been for a long time but If he wanted to stay that much then he would stay till the end of the season on his current contract ..? He is choosing to go Bournemouth now .. I Doubt we are forcing him ,
Doesn't say, just all seems to fall into place a little , dale goes then frimpong tweets that under a hour ago
I could a wrong with him coming here just it is a rumours thread, but he's been here before I reckon with a decent one of games he could be good for us I mean arsenal did play him before his injury

Its not complicated. I am guessing we have made him a final offer. He has indicated that he isn't happy with that and hasn't signed it. He then went to Bournemouth to discuss a move and might have been calling our bluff thinking we'd up our offer. Instead we have stuck to our guns and basically moved on. One striker signed, one all but signed and possibly another in the offing.
Who knows we might have even withdrawn the contract offer and be looking to force his hand - possible reason why CP might have had a barney with RD today?.
The fact that he is probably a proud man and won't want to be seen to be backing down will no doubt end in him going to Bournemouth.

Anyone I've missed out?
I think AA could surprise us all in the middle and I think Poyet is the long-term successor to Stephens.
Expectation is still that Yann Kermorgant will go. #cafc

@IAMFRIMPONG26: @ceddyevina Your fans are out of order
Edit he was searching ceddy on twitter for some reason, maybe to tell him he was coming?
Yann has given #cafc a opportunity to agree a new deal! they don't want to & stand by the reduced terms offered before! #afcb
